Texto de partida

Generalmente, las ciudades tienen grandes dificultades para destruirlas grandes cantidades de basuras que generan cada da sushabitantes. Por un lado, pueden ir acumulando todas las basuras enciertos lugares, que reciben el nombre de basureros. Pero estosbasureros llegan, tras un periodo de actividad, a estar llenostotalmente, por lo que hay que cubrirlos y buscar otro lugar comofuturo basurero. Por otro lado, pueden quemarse las basuras, comose hace en muchas ciudades, pero los gases que se desprendendurante la incineracin pueden contaminar la atmsfera, por lo que elremedio suele ser peor que la enfermedad. En otras ciudades estn

intentando reciclar las basuras, es decir, transformarlas para despusvolver a usar sus productos. Por ejemplo, las basuras orgnicas(como los restos de las comidas y los desperdicios alimentarios)pueden transformarse en abonos para la agricultura. Pero entre lasbasuras tambin hay otros productos como papeles, cartones, etc.,que se transforman en materias primas para volver a fabricar papel(el llamado papel reciclado). Sin embargo, para conseguir estos

objetivos es preciso establecer un sistema que permita al ciudadanoseparar sus basuras: las que son reciclables, como las citadas antes,

Propuesta de resumen n1

Las ciudades tienen grandes dificultades para destruir las grandescantidades de basura que generan cada da sus habitantes. Lasbasuras se pueden acumular en los basureros, que tienen unaduracin limitada, ya que cuando estn llenos hay que buscar otros.Tambin pueden quemarse las basuras, pero los gases que sedesprenden de la incineracin pueden contaminar la atmsfera.Tambin se pueden reciclar las basuras, es decir, transformarlas enabonos para la agricultura o en materias primas para fabricar otrosproductos. Pero para que sea posible el reciclado es precisoestablecer un sistema que permita al ciudadano separar sus basuras:

las que son reciclables y las que no lo son.

a) El resumen es muy largo, ya que tiene 108palabras. Casi es la mitad del texto de partida (quetiene 200 palabras). El resumen deber tener 50palabras (no tiene que ser exactamente as: puedehaber una variacin del 10% arriba y 10% abajo; esdecir, debe tener entre 45 y 55 palabras).

b) En el resumen se usan casi textualmente laspalabras del texto de partida. Puedes comprobarque hay frases completas: Las ciudades tienen

grandes dificultades para destruir las grandescantidades de basura que generan cada da sushabitantes... ; Tambin pueden quemarse lasbasuras, pero los gases que se desprenden de laincineracin pueden contaminar la atmsfera ...

El resumen n 2 tiene la proporcin correcta (25% deltexto de partida, es decir, 45 palabras). Ademsconserva las ideas principales. Pero est mal redactado.Se trata de unas oraciones que se han yuxtapuesto,simplemente. Una yuxtaposicin de ideas, sin ningnhilo director que represente el progreso delpensamiento del autor. En otras palabras: no tienecohesin. No es, por tanto, un resumen aceptable.

Se pueden destruir las basuras que producen las ciudadesmediante dos procedimientos: acumulndolas en losbasureros o quemndolas; pero ambos procedimientospresentan inconvenientes, ya que los basureros terminanpor llenarse, por lo que hay que buscar otros y laincineracin contamina la atmsfera con los gases queproduce.
