A LITTLE ABOUT MEFrom suburbs to projects, as a kid I was always changing locations or

houses. So it’s hard saying where I’m actually from. I started out in the suburban area of sand ridge. A nice quiet area. Not much of a diverse

place but still a place of many experiences. After that I relocated to the south side of the city. It was very tough being in the city, everywhere you

went it had a correlation to violence or some shape of crime. I never really liked being forced to have to adjust to it.

INTRODUCTIONEver since a kid I enjoyed buying a new game and putting myself in the shoes of the main protagonist and discovering the world in their eyes. It intrigued me to the point I put hours upon hours just trying to figure out

the full character creation system. I was dedicated to figuring out the inside and out of how it operated….....That leads to the reason I’m at I.C

Stars.

Before I get into why I’m at I.C stars. I’ll speak a little about my past work experience. This is my 2nd non-for-profit that I’ve worked for. This is the best though so far ha-ha. The last one was only in it for the grant money and prestige. We never really gained anything from working. What they would do is hire us and let us find an employer to work for free of charge and the organization payed us. The employers treated us like crap because they knew we didn’t represent their business and it was horrid. It wasn’t influential to the type of environment I wanted to surround myself around so I left.

DEAD END JOB

After that I found a job at a food4less in the back of the yards district of Chicago. I actually liked it. That was until they noticed my work ethic and started using me. When I was on night crew I worked my butt off for the company. I would come in early and stay even later. I did the jobs of various employees to keep them safe and under the fire. It came to the point even the store manager had tasks for me. When it was time for promotions I never heard anything back. I was doing the work of store Co-Managers getting the pay of a person that pushed carts. It was time for me to go, and luckily after that I found I.C Stars looking for something that fit the technical side of me.

I.C STARSThe reason I’m at I.C Stars is pretty much my, history, job history and

location. With all that going on in my life, plus my family situation. I knew that I need a change. Something different had to challenge me. I wanted to do something that I actually like and could make a career out of. Every

time my grandma would see me on the computer.
