    Backgroundy Language is a system of objects or symbols. Language as

    sounds or character sequences that can be combined invarious ways following a set of rules, especially to

    communicate thoughts, or instruction.y According to Searle John R :

    There are three components of languages, firstphonological component that determines how words andsentences are pronounced, second a syntactical component

    that determines the arrangement of words and morphemesin sentences, and the last a semantic component thatassigns a meaning or interpretation to words andsentences.

    Reading is an interactive process that goes on

    between the reader and the text, resulting incomprehension. How we read is shaped by ourpersonal characteristic, and how well we read isdependent upon our personal resources or reading

    potential.According to Barnett, Reading is the mental

    operations involved when readers purposefullyapproach a text to make sense of what they used.
