Que gusto saber que Baja California está cobrando mayor fuerza en el

Turismo Médico y de Salud, sobre todo tras el anuncio que el Gobierno del Estado realizó a ese sector al poner en marcha El Programa de Fortalecimiento para capacitación de desarrollo, que sin duda vendrá bien para mayor atracción de pacientes extranjeros.

Esto viene a sumarse a la gran proyección que Tijuana, Mexicali y Los Algodones tienen como principales destinos en la búsqueda de servicios médicos.

The reinvention of the souvenir in Tijuana is called I Love TJ, a group of

professionals that gives the border’s identity that special touch, so that its visitors can take a very unique memento from the so called

Latin-American Corner.

It’s been less than two years since this new concept was born in the city, which tries to rescue the most common phrases from native Tijuanans, evoking all that has given the city its identity.

It’s a long time since I Love TJ offered the classic plaster figurines, the sarapes, the leather bags and other curiosities that along the famous Revolution Avenue are still found and are not really a part of Tijuana.

Phrases such as “Paros a la ocho”, “Tijuana Republic”, “Soy 664 – I’m 664”, “Tijuana makes me happy” are part of the phrases appearing on t-shirts that you can make part of your collection, as well as the classical key rings with representative images from the city.

La reinvención del souvenir en Tijuana se llama I Love TJ, un colectivo que le da

ese toque de identidad a la frontera, para que sus visitantes se puedan llevar un recuerdo con mucho sabor de la llamada Esquina de Latinoamérica.

No han pasado dos años desde que este nuevo concepto nació en la ciudad, el cual trata de rescatar las frases más comunes de los tijuanenses, evocar todo aquello que le ha dado identidad a la ciudad.

Lejos quedó para I Love TJ ofertar las clásicas figuras de yeso, los sarapes, bolsas de piel y demás curiosidades que a lo largo de la famosa avenida Revolución se encuentran y que no tienen que ver con Tijuana.

Cesar Manriquez, TJ born and second generation orthodontist, gives the border the opportunity to be on the cutting edge with Dental Image, a clinic that offers specialized dental care attention.

Dental image is a family run clinic born in 2005 which currently has three different clinics that offer its own private surgery room, endodontics, surgery, pediatric orthodontic s, orthodontics and implants. His contribution to medical tourism in

Baja is perceived in his preparation, his father’s example, Ariosto Manrique, the first orthodontist in the region, and a specialty in dental clinic administration from the Disney Institute located in Los Angeles, as well as an MGA in Tampa, Florida.

“Disney offered me the skills of good client service, we are a company referenced by the Institute with such service, with a pleasant environment and the least painful experience”, he mentions.

Since the year 2004, every august 5th it is International Beer Day in some countries.

Tijuana joins in with the TJ Beer Fest which is held at the Caliente Stadium, in Tijuana this september 18 and 19.

The event is headed by Tijuana Brewery since 2004 and celebrates craft beer which has become more and more popular in the last few years. This event is held in summer to savor the different tastes of the fermented barley grains.

More than 90 different brands offer their products to the most demanding palates as well as promoting its moderate consumption.

Preparar un Chile en Nogada es toda una obra maestra. Los ingredientes de este

peculiar platillo de la gastronomía mexicana van de lo dulce a lo salado y este 2015 cumple 195 años de su creación.

La temporada de este manjar inicio el pasado 20 de julio, pero es realmente el 28 de agosto, Día de San Agustin cuando más se degusta en las mesas de los mexicanos. Y es que la historia cuenta que unas monjas prepararon este platillo para recibir al emperador Agustín de Iturbide.

Este manjar es para México uno de los más patrióticos, pues resalta los colores de la bandera.

Tijuana lo festeja el 30 de agosto en la Avenida Revolución, a partir de mediodía.

To prepare a “Chile en Nogada” is like creating a masterpiece. The ingredients

of this peculiar Mexican dish go from sweet to salty and this 2015 marks 195 years of its creation.

The peak season for this exquisite dish began last July 20th, but it is really on August 28th, the day of San Agustin, when it is savored by more Mexicans than any other day of the year. History tells us a few nuns prepared this dish to welcome the Emperor Agustin de Iturbide.

This is one of the most patriotic dishes for Mexico, because the colors of the Mexican flag stand out in it.
