su alteza.ALICIA:. ¡Eh señor conejo, escuche, pare!CONEJO: lo siento no me detengo.(desaparece el conejo y Alicia se mete por donde él y cae por un pozo sin fondo)ALICIA: ¡esto parece un túnel! ¡ me caigo cabeza abajo!¡la tierra entera atravieso!¡no tengo donde agarrarme!¡veo a la gente al revés!¡he llegado a un suelo blando (Alicia es muy grande y el decorado, un salón con siete puertecitas, muy pequeño con respecto a Alicia. Ve correr al conejo blanco) CONEJO: su alteza me cortara la cabeza, llego tarde. ALICIA: ¡eh señor conejo, pare! ¿Donde esta este lugar? CONEJO: ¡niña! no puedo parar. (el conejo desaparece por una de las pequeñas puertas)ALICIA: intenta entrar pero no cabe. ALICIA: es muy pequeña para mi. Estoy metida en un cepo, no puedo salir de aquí. (ve un frasco)ALICIA: esta escrito: bébeme pero me da mucho asco.¿y si fuera un veneno?Ya que estoy aquí metida(bebe) Me marea esta bebida...¡Ah! ¡Me empiezo a encoger!¿pero que me esta pasando?(Alicia se encoge y entra por la pequeña puerta)

ALICE: I was sleeping while reading this story.RABBIT: I’m late again. Your Highness will cut off my head.ALICE: Mr. Rabbit, stop it!RABBIT: I’m sorry I can’t stop myself.(the Rabbit disappears and Alice goes after him and falls down a bottomless well)ALICE: This looks like a tunnel! No me escucha porque soy bajita.(Cae un pastel y Alicia come un trocito y crece.)ALICIA: ¡Caramba, vuelvo a crecer! ¡Hola...cosa! -dirigiéndose a la orugaORUGA: ¡Hola, Alicia!ALICIA: ¿Sabes mi nombre?ORUGA: Aquí todo se sabe.ALICIA: ¿En este país?ORUGA: SíALICIA: ¿Cómo se llama?ORUGA: De las maravillasALICIA: País de las maravillas. ¡Qué bonito!Parece, usted, una oruga.ORUGA: ¿A que vienes, muchachita?ALICIA: No lo sé. He venido siguiendo a un conejo blanco.ORUGA: Si quieres un buen consejo, vete por donde has venido.ALICIA: No sé salir.ORUGA: Tú no aprendiste en la escuela que cuando cierras los ojos, ves lo que no ves despierta. .

SCENE 2

ver lo que se ve cuando se cierran los

ojos.

ALICIA: Yo sólo entré detrás de un

conejo blanco que se escondió no sé

donde.

ORUGA: Lo esperaban muy temprano

para comer y como llega tarde perderá

la cabeza.

ALICIA: ¿Es posible?

ORUGA: Es posible. Además aquí hay

patrullas de naipes que te pedirán el

visado por venir del extranjero.

ALICE: I am not an expert in seeing

regreso.(En ese momento una paloma vuela alrededor de Alicia y la picotea, creyendo que es una culebra)

ALICIA: ¡Quita bicho! ¡Quita bicho!

PALOMA: ¡Una culebra que habla!

ORUGA: Hoy estás tonta. ¿No ves que

es una niña?(La paloma sigue detrás de Alicia)

ALICIA: Esta paloma me pica.

ORUGA: ¿Pero la quieres dejar?

PALOMA: La quiero para almorzar.

ALICIA: Me voy corriendo de aquí.

ORUGA: ¡Corre, Alicia, por allí!

ALICIA: ¡Adiós, adiós! ¡Quita, bicho! (Sale Alicia por entre los árboles de cartón. La paloma sigue sobre su cabeza. La oruga suspira y sigue tejiendo.) Música el vals de la oruga.

ALICE: But if I have fallen… Wait a

moment, I only want to know where I

have fallen into to follow this story.

CATERPILLAR: Who knows? Leave

walking. But be careful, you might not

return.(at this moment a pigeon flies round Alice and starts pecking her thinking she is a snake)

ALICE: Get off me! Get off me!

PIGEON: A speaking snake!

CATERPILLAR: Today you are stupid.

Can you not see it is a girl?(the pigeon follow behind Alice)

ALICE: This pigeon is pecking me!

CATERPILLAR: Do you want it to leave

you alone?

PIGEON: I want her for lunch!

ALICE: I’m running away from here!

CATERPILLAR: Run, Alice, over there!

ALICE: Goodbye! Goodbye! Get off me!(Alice leaves through the cardboard trees and the pigeon follows on her head. The caterpillar sighs and continues to knit) Waltz music.

ESCENA III

(Alicia, gato de Cheshire. Alicia llega frente a una casa y en un árbol está el gato, que siempre se está riendo, aparece lentamente)

ALICIA: ¡Hola, gatito risitas! No te he

visto aparecer

GATO: No es fácil dejarme ver y menos

a las visitas.

ALICIA: Te he visto antes y ahora. Dos

veces.

GATO: Quizás como si fuera un espejo

me vas viendo por partes, pero todo de

una vez.

ALICIA: Qué complicado es todo en este

mundo cambiante.

GATO: ¿Hacia dónde vas, Alicia?

ALICIA: Por el camino adelante. Pero

no sé donde voy. He perseguido a un

conejo y ahora me encuentro aquí.

¿Puedes decirme que hay ahí? (señala el

camino)

GATO: Ahí hay un buen sendero.

SCENE 3

LIEBRE: -al ver a Alicia- ¡No hay sitio! ¡No

hay sitio!

ALICIA: ¡Buenas tardes! ¡Qué mesita!

LIEBRE: ¡No hay sitio!, ¡No hay sitio!

ALICIA: Son unos maleducados, no me

ofrecen la merienda. (Se sienta)

LIEBRE: ¿Tú no eres de aquí?

ALICIA: Estoy perdida.

LIBRE: ¿Perdida? Estarás dormida....

ALICIA: Quiero té.

LIEBRE: Primeo has de adivinar un

acertijo.

ALICIA: Seguro que lo adivino.

LIEBRE: Tamaño de una cazuela, tiene

alas y no vuela.

ALICIA: ¿Tiene alas y no vuela?

LIEBRE: Sí.

SCENE 4

Alice and the March hare. The hatter, dormouse and Alice arrive at a clearing, there is a table with afternoon tea, around the table is the Hare, the Hatter, and the Dormouse.

HARE: Look at Alice! There’s no room!

ALICE: Good afternoon! What a small

HARE: There’s no room! There’s no

didn’t offer me tea. (she sits.)

LIEBRE: Se hace tarde.(El lirón se despierta)

ALICIA: ¿A qué viene tanta prisa?

LIEBRE: ¿Qué sabes, niña, del tiempo?

ALICIA: Es para contar las horas.

LIEBRE: No sirve para gran cosa. Es

algo que viene y va, se va como

gaseosa.

ALICIA: ¿Y ahora?

LIEBRE: Ahora viene y está cerquita de

ti.

ALICIA: ¿Y cómo sabré que viene?

LIEBRE: Mira, al tiempo se le adivina y

es así como camina solo sí tú lo

comprendes.(Se van los tres, se oyen sonidos trompetas y

tambores)

ALICIA: Es ruido de batallón intensivo. (Intenta verlos)

ALICE: A clue please.

HARE: Give her a clue Hatter.(the Hatter takes off his hat)

ALICE: I’m right! It’s the hat!

HARE: It has been seen and not seen.

ALICE: What’s wrong?

woken).

(Aparecen naipes (soldados) Rey y Reina de corazones. Verdugo. Conejo blanco y Gato de cheshire)

DOS CORAZONES: ¡Alto! ¿Adónde

vas?

ALICIA: Yo...a ninguna parte

REINA: ¿Quién es ésta?

REY: La que faltaba en la fiesta.

(-Todos ríen-)

DOS CORAZONES: La que pillamos

ahora.

REINA: ¡Que le corten la cabeza!

ALICIA: ¿De qué se me acusa ahora?

REINA: De ser una salteadora.

REY: Lo mismo es exploradora.

ALICIA: Yo creo que estoy soñando

GATO: ¿Ahora lo estás comprobando?

REINA: ¡Que le corten la cabeza!

CONEJO: ¿Y no vale que la riña?

REINA: Mucha democracia es ésta

CONEJO: No deis aún ese paso

REINA: Tenéis razón. Se me ablanda el

corazón.

TODOS: Cantemos una canción.

Scene V(Card soldiers appear, the king and queen of hearts. Executioner. White Rabbit and the Cheshire cat)

Two hearts: Stop. Where are you

going?

ALICE: Me? Nowhere.

Queen:Who is this?

King:What the party was missing(Everyone laughs)

Two hearts: The one we caught now

Queen:Cut off her head

ALICE: What are you accusing me of

now?

Queen:Of being a highway robber

King:She´s probably not an explorer

ALICE:I think I´m dreaming

Cat:Are you realising that now?

Queen:Cut off her head.

Rabbit:Is it OK if I just scold her?

Queen:This is quite a democracy

Rabbit:Don´t take that step yet

Queen:You´re right. My heart is getting

soft

Everyone:Let´s sing a song

Cat: Hello Alice. What, you aren´t

playing?

REINA: ¡Qué canción ni que narices! Empecemos la función.(Con gran barullo todos empiezan a jugar. Alicia se acerca al gato que es el único que no juega. La reina solamente dice a grandes gritos ¡Qué le corten la cabeza!)ALICIA: ¡Hola, gatito risitas! GATO: ¡Hola, Alicia! ¡Qué! ¿No juegas? ALICIA: Este es un juego sin reglas. Yo creí que conocía todo lo que yo veía y nada, nada, nada es lo que parecía. GATO: ¿No será que estás dormida? ALICIA: ¿Me dices que estoy dormida entre este ruido infernal? GATO: Aprovéchate y escapa. ¡Huye, el caso es salir! ALICIA: Pero no sé dónde ir. ¿Y si ella me atrapa? GATO: Pues despiértate y ya está. ALICIA: Ni que eso fuera tan fácil. REINA: Vosotros, ¿qué estáis tramando? ALICIA: Señora, sólo estábamos hablando. REINA: ¡Que le corten la cabeza! REY: Espera un poco mujer. Habrá que nombrar un juez. CONEJO: Yo quiero ser defensor.REY: ¡Rayos! No tenemos ley. Será ley de Rey. REINA: ¡y de Reina! ALICIA: ¿Por qué no me voy camino arriba? REINA: ¡Ni te lo pienses, niñata! Te juzgaran como he mandado. CONEJO: Y meteremos la pata. REINA: ¡Basta ya de tanta charla! ¡A juzgar! Yo seré la presidenta. REY: Seremos dos presidentes. CONEJO: Espero que sean buenos.

Queen: What song! Let´s start the performance.(With a lot of noise everyone begins playing. Alicia moves closer to the cat who is the only one who isn´t playing. The queen only shouts: Cut off her head.)ALICE:Hello laughing catCat: Hello Alice. What, you aren´t playing?ALICE:This is a game without rules. I thought that I knew everything that I saw and nothing, nothing, nothing is what it appearsCat:Maybe you´re sleeping?ALICE: You´re telling me that I´m asleep with all this infernal noise. CONEJO: ¡Protesto! GATO: Esto bien empieza. REY: Todavía no se puede cortar la cabeza así. CONEJO: Yo digo que es inocente. Que hable la niña. TODOS: ¡Que hable, que hable! REINA: Bueno, ¡que hable! ALICIA: Yo estaba en la siesta… REINA: ¡Ahí lo tenéis, es culpable! CONEJO: ¿Pero que condena es ésta? REY: Orden, ¿dónde estabas? ALICIA: Pues yo estaba durmiendo… REINA: ¿Cómo puede estar durmiendo?

CONEJO: Es que duerme el ser humano.TODOS: ¡Ohhhh! ALICIA: Y de repente he caído en este lugar lejano. CONEJO: Es la verdad, señoría. REINA: ¿Y, dónde querías ir? ALICIA: Yo no iba a ningún lado, pasó el conejo a mi lado y… creo que he llegado a ninguna parte.REINA: Se ha metido en un lugar al que no podía entrar. Culpable. CONEJO: Protesto. REINA: Denegada. ALICIA: Señora creo que aquí estoy soñando y sois parte de mi sueño. GATO: Niña, te estás explicando. REINA: ¿Tú quién crees que eres? ALICIA: Una niña que soñaba que a un raro país llegaba. Que había extraños seres: reyes, un conejo blanco, un gato, una oruga… y que allí no había leyes. REINA: ¿Me dices que yo no existo? ¡Que le corten la cabeza! ALICIA: Señora, pero también os advierto que si conmigo aquí estáis, estáis vivos, es bien cierto.

Scene VI (Everyone moves into place).Queen:Let it begin. Cut off her headRabbit:I protestCat:This is beginning well King:You can´t cut off her head like that, yet.Rabbit:I say she is innocent. REINA: ¿Dónde dice que no soy? ¿Dónde dice que no estamos? CONEJO: Estamos pero nos vamos. Y ya no será más hoy. REINA: Como reina que soy dictamino a día de hoy: ¡Que le corten la cabeza! CONEJO: ¡Un momento, un momento! REINA: ¡Ya se ha acabado el momento!ALICIA: ¡Me parece que me voy!GATO: ¡Despiértate, Alicia, corre!CONEJO: ¡Corre, Alicia, corre, corre!(Se oye la voz de la madre de Alicia que le llama)MADRE: ¡Alicia, Alicia, despierta!(Comienzan a salir, uno a uno, los personajes)REINA: ¡Que no despierte, por Dios!ALICIA: ¡Ya me despierto, adiós!REINA: Ya tendría que estar muertaREY: ¡Ay! ¿Y que será de mí?ALICIA: Os guardaré en mi memoria.CONEJO: ¿Y contarás nuestra historia?ALICIA: De lo que me acuerde, sí.(Alicia se despierta y desaparece todo. Del cielo caen Naipes dormidos)

Cat:Very good, Alice, you found the answer.QUEEN: You, cat, leave.
