Born to Eternal Life

Miguel Avilez, Bolestow, Piotrowski and Socorro Sanchez have passed into Eternal Life. We pray that they will inherit the promise of Christ.

DAILY OFFERING

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart; the salvation of souls, reparation for sins, the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops and of all our members, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.

Ask For Help Ask Our Lady to help you. Ask her to entreat her Son to let you know you should do. —Blessed Marie Rose Durocher

Annual Life Chain

Sunday, Oct. 4, 2014 2:30-4:00 p.m.

For many years, St. Ansgar Church, along with other area parishes, have been participating in the Annual Life Chain which takes at the corner of East Avenue and Irving Park Road. All that is involved in participating in the Life Chain, is simply standing, or sitting on a chair, on the public sidewalk of the fore mentioned cross roads and praying quietly for the sanctity of all human life while holding non-graphic pro-life signs. You can participate for the full ninety minutes or even less if you so desire. As in the past, all are invited back to St. Ansgar’s Hall for coffee, hot chocolate, and numerous treats. What is very saddening is that out of the more than one thousand people that participate in Sunday Mass, we are lucky if we have fifteen people from our parish participate in the Life Chain each year. As Catholics, we are all called to be pro-life. In the United States alone, we lose 3,000 unborn babies to the evils of abortion each and every day. These children need us to be their voice. For more information, please contact Sandy Kascewicz at [email protected].

CADENA ANUAL DE VIDA

DOMINGO 6 DE OCTUBRE 2:30 –4:00 p.m.
