1.- ANTECEDENTES: se requiere el diseño estructural de una plataforma de operación para soportar un sistema de vacío, las dimensiones de la plataforma son de 3.80x7.98 m la cual se encuentra integrada al puente del transportador primario de 1.80 m de ancho conformado en placa antiderrapante; la plataforma se estructurará a base de perfiles metálicos tanto de sección abierta como de perfiles huecos en acero al carbón, los cuales deberán transmitir las cargas de trabajo hacia las trabes principales de los marcos estructurales del mezzanine. 2.- REGLAMENTOS DE DISEÑO UTILIZADOS: “Manual de Construcciones” de la C.F.E. Reglamento del AISC-89 ASD. 3.- BIBLIOGRAFIA UTILIZADA: “Design of welded structures”, O.W. Blodgett, J.F.L.A.W.F. “Structural steel design”, J.E. Bowles, M.G.H. Ed. 4.- ANALISIS DE CARGAS: 4.a.- Antecedentes: dada la estructura en cuestión, su tipo, geometría y ubicación geográfica, de acuerdo al reglamento se hará una revisión para cargas gravitacionales y sísmicas, ya que son las que rigen el diseño estructural. 4.b.- Materiales para análisis: para la elaboración del modelo estructural se han considerado básicamente los siguientes materiales: acero. Los valores de las propiedades mecánicas para estos materiales se muestran a continuación: Acero Módulo de Elasticidad: 2’089,704 kg/cm² Cociente de Poisson: 0.3 Densidad: 7,833 kg/m³ Amortiguamiento Crítico: 0.03 Coeficiente Térmico (α): 6.6 x 10-6

4.c.- Cargas de Análisis: las cargas gravitacionales a considerar son: el peso propio de la estructura, el peso del equipo de vacío, el peso de la placa antiderrapante y de accesorios como carga muerta (CM) y una sobrecarga de operación sobre la rejilla irving del pasillo como carga viva (CV), tales valores se dan a continuación: Marca Peso Equipo sistema de vacío: 3,500 kg Peso de placa antiderrap. y accesorios: 70 kg/m2 Sobrecarga sobre placa antiderrapante: 120 kg/m2 Para las cargas accidentales por sismo (CS) se toman los valores de un espectro de diseño para la zona sísmica “B” y un tipo de suelo II, se tienen entonces los siguientes valores para una revisión estática simplificada: coeficiente sísmico básico, c = 0.30 factor de ductilidad, Q = Q’ = 2.5 coeficiente sísmico, Cs = 0.12 Dichas cargas se integran en el modelo como cargas uniformemente distribuidas y cargas puntuales sobre los elementos estructurales. La carga muerta debida al peso propio de la estructura se toma en cuenta con el comando “selfweight” de la plataforma de análisis. 4d.- Combinaciones de Cargas: los casos de carga básicos que se consideran son entonces los siguientes: 4d.1.- Carga muerta – CM. 4d.2.- Carga viva - CV. 4d.3- Carga sísmica norte - CSN. 4d.4.- Carga sísmica sur - CSS. 4d.5.- Carga sísmica oeste - CSO. 4d.6.- Carga sísmica desde el este - CSE.

A partir de tales casos de carga básicos se generan las siguientes combinaciones decarga: 4d.7.- 1.0 CM + 1.0 CV 4d.8.- 1.0 CM + 1.0 CV + 1.0 CSN 4d.9.- 1.0CM + 1.0 CV + 1.0 CSS 4d.10.- 1.0CM + 1.0 CV + 1.0 CSO 4d.11.- 1.0CM + 1.0 CV + 1.0 CSE 4e.- Formulación del modelo estructural: los elementos de la estructura se han modelado mediante elementos lineales existentes en la librería de la plataforma de análisis, las conexiones entre ellos se han supuesto como nudos rígidos. El apoyo sobre las trabes de los marcos se modela mediante apoyos articulados. La plataforma de análisis realiza internamente los cálculos necesarios para el acoplamiento mecánico entre los elementos lineales. Mediante la plataforma de análisis se lleva a cabo un análisis de tipo estático lineal, obteniéndose así los valores de las reacciones de apoyo, solicitaciones en los elementos, desplazamientos y rotaciones para los distintos casos y combinaciones de carga. 5.- DISEÑO ESTRUCTURAL: 5a.- Diseño de la estructura: al emplearse la plataforma de diseño para los elementos de acero se encontraron sus deflexiones y ratios de resistencia debidos a los esfuerzos flexionantes y cortantes que actúan sobre las columnas y vigas portantes. Se tomaron en cuenta los siguientes valores del esfuerzo de cedencia para los perfiles: 3237 kg/cm2 para el ASTM A-500 Gr B y 2533 para el ASTM A-36 , ver Anexo # 2. 6.- CONCLUSIONES: las secciones iniciales de los elementos de la estructura se propusieron tomando en cuenta las recomendaciones de reglamentos de diseño anteriores, los resultados de diseño para miembros de acero muestran un resultado aceptable con un ratio de resistencia máximo de 0.498, el desplazamiento vertical para elementos principales es de 18.4 mm (L/330). Los resultados anteriores se muestran en el Anexo #1 (imágenes del modelo), Anexo #2 (diseño de acero). En base a todo lo anterior se concluye que la estructura es segura.
