Estas semanas comenzamos a recorrer juntos una nueva etapa en la cual niñas y niños serán los protagonistas. Nosotros los

adultos, los acompañaremos en el gran desafío de integrarse, de compartir con amigos y amigas, jugar, cantar y aprender

muchas cosas.

…Tuvimos una gran semana aquí, en el Nido del Ausangate. Estos son comentarios acerca de algunas cosas interesantes que

los niños hicieron esta semana:

Para aquellas familias que son nuevas en el Nido, cada viernes

enviamos nuestro newsletter con comentarios de las profesoras

sobre algunas de las actividades que tuvieron lugar esa sema-

na, así como cualquier otra información importante para los

padres y madres. Les pedimos que lean cuidadosamente el

newsletter.

Reunión de Padres de Familia de Preschool, Pre-Kinder y Kinder

Les comunicamos que el día martes 15 de marzo, tendremos

nuestras primeras Reuniones de Grado del Nivel Inicial. Estas

reuniones tienen el objetivo de compartir con ustedes informa-

ción sobre el trabajo que realizaremos el presente año, así co-

mo tomar acuerdos para trabajar de manera conjunta en este

año escolar 2016. Las reuniones serán en el siguiente horario:

6:00 pm – Preschool y Pre-Kinder

7:00 pm – Kinder

Los esperamos de manera puntual y agradeceremos no traer

a sus niños, ya que la reunión no está orientada para ellos y no

contamos con personal que quede a su cuidado.

Newsletter

For those families who are new to the Nursery, every Friday we

send our newsletter with comments from the teachers about

some of the activities which took place that week as well as

other important information for parents. We ask that you read

the newsletter carefully.

Parent Meetings

We will hold our first parent meetings next Tuesday, March 15th

at the Nursery to present our staff and share important informa-

tion about our work in 2016. The schedule is as follows:

6:00 pm – Preschool and Pre-Kinder

7:00 pm – Kinder

We hope to see you punctually and thank you for not bringing

children since the meeting is not designed for them and we

won’t have anyone to watch them.

Preschool: Miriam Aparicio y Camu Ortiz Los niños de Preschool esta semana aprendieron canciones y realizaron juegos para conocer el nombre de sus compañeros y

mencionar el suyo. También aprendieron a usar el cartel de asistencia reconociendo la tarjeta con su nombre. / This week the

Preschool children learned songs and played games to learn their classmates names and say their own. They also learned how

to use the attendance chart identifying the card with their name on it.

PreKinder Español: Yudy Carpio y Edurne Robles Esta semana los niños de Pre-Kinder aprendieron la canción “La señorita”. También representaron gráficos sobre el concepto

del “Trabajo en equipo”. / This week the children in Pre-Kinder learned the song “La señorita”. They also represented images re-

lated to the concept of “teamwork”.

Pre-Kinder Inglés: Addie Price y Morgan Scott ¡Hemos disfrutado conociéndonos en Pre-Kinder esta semana! El grupo tuvo oportunidad de entrar en contacto con el inglés

cantando canciones simples y conociendo acerca de sus profesoras y compañeros de clase. ¡Estamos muy emocionados de

trabajar con una clase tan increíble este año! / We have really enjoyed getting to know our Pre-Kinder group this week! The

group has experienced English by singing simple songs and learning about their teachers and classmates. We are excited to be

working with such a great class this year!

Kinder Español: Edurne Robles y Yudy Carpio Esta semana los niños de Kinder representaron el momento favorito de sus vacaciones en un cuadro utilizando plumones y pa-

pel maché./ This week the children in Kinder represented their favorite moment in vacation using markers and paper mache.

Kinder Inglés: Addie Price y Morgan Scott ¡Kinder ha tenido una semana de Inglés que ha sido fabulosa! Los alumnos se divirtieron mucho realizando sus coronas de

“Primer día de Kinder” y cantando canciones y jugando juegos en inglés. !Estamos esperando con muchas ansias toda la diver-

sión y aprendizaje que vamos a tener juntos este año en Kinder Inglés!/Kinder has had a fabulous first week of English! The stu-

dents really enjoyed making their “First day of Kinder” crowns, and have been having a lot of fun with English through songs and

games. We are looking forward to all of the fun and learning we are going to do together this year in Kinder English!

Horario de Atención a Padres de Familia

En caso de que deseen tener una reunión con la profesora de

sus hijos, los siguientes son los horarios en que están disponibles

durante la semana.

Preschool: Lunes 10:45am - 11:30am

Pre-Kinder: Jueves 8:30am - 9:15am

Kinder: Jueves 10:00am - 10:45am

Puntualidad

Nos gustaría recordarles que las puertas del nido están abier-

tas a las 8:15 a.m. y nuestro programa se inicia para todas las

edades a las 8:30 a.m. Es importante que los niños lleguen a

tiempo y así no interrumpimos el trabajo de la maestra y los

otros niños.

A partir del lunes 07 las clases terminan a la 1:30 para todas las

edades. Les pedimos a las familias que recojan a los niños/as

a tiempo. El recoger tarde a los niños/as puede generarles

angustia o ansiedad, además de generar inconvenientes a

nuestro personal, quien necesita dedicarse a sus otras respon-

sabilidades.

Juguetes

Les recordamos a todas las familias que sus niños/as no deben

traer juguetes al Nido a menos que sea un artículo pedido por

su profesora. Los juguetes traídos de casa suelen causar pro-

blemas entre los niños/as y no queremos que nada de estas

cosas se rompan o se pierdan.

Muda de Ropa

Nos gustaría recordar a las familias de Preschool que la mochi-

la con la muda de su niño o niña debe contener:

Un polo interior.

Un polo para fuera.

Una chompa o polera.

Un calzón o calzoncillo.

Un par de medias.

Un par de zapatos o zapatillas.

Un pantalón.

2 pañales que vienen y van.

Pañitos húmedos.

Información Pendiente

Nos gustaría recordar a los padres que no han enviado los

artículos solicitados por las profesoras (por ejemplo: las fotos

de niño, mandil, una muda de ropa, partida de nacimiento,

fotocopia DNI, etc....), esperamos que lo hagan a la breve-

dad.

Recordarles también que es muy importante que nuestros ni-

ños mantengan las uñas cortas para evitar contratiempo. Sa-

bemos que contamos con su apoyo. Gracias.

Teachers’ Meeting Times

In case you wish to arrange a meeting with your child’s

teacher, the following are the times during the week that they

are available.

Preschool: Monday 10:45am - 11:30am

Pre-Kinder: Thursday 8:30am - 9:15

Kinder: Thursday 10:00am - 10:45am

Punctuality

We would like to remind you that our doors open at 8:15 a.m.

and our program starts for all ages at 8:30 a.m. It is important

that the children arrive on time as this increases his/her fee-

ling of security and is less disruptive to the teacher and the

other children.

Starting Monday, March 7th, classes end at 1:30 for all stu-

dents. Please pick up your children up on time. Late pickup

generates worry and anxiety in addition to being an incon-

venience for our staff who needs time to do other responsibi-

lities.

Toys

We would like to remind parents that your child should not

be bringing toys to Nursery unless it is an item requested by

his/her teacher. Toys from home tend to cause problems

between children and we wouldn’t want anything from ho-

me to get broken or lost.

Extra Clothes

We’d like to remind Ausangate Nursery Families that the ba-

ckpack with the change of clothes should include:

An undershirt

A shirt

A sweatshirt or sweater

Underwear

A pair of socks

A pair of shoes

A pair of pants

2 diapers that go back and forth

Wet wipes
