Para desbloquear un ipod o iphone necesitamos ponerlo en modo disco extraible si es un ipod classic, nano o video, o ponerlo en modo recuperación si es un ipod touch o iphone.

Poner en modo de disco extraible: para esto con el ipod encendido presionamos simultaneamente Menu + Centro, esto es para reiniciar el ipod, una vez que se reinicia y antes de que aparezca la manzana presionas Play + centro, de esta manera tu ipod entra en modo disco extraible, esto aplica para todos los ipod excepto el ipod touch o iphone. Para el ipod touch o iphone solo conectalos a la PC mientras presionas el botón Home y entran en modo de recuperación.

Una vez conectado el dispositivo a la PC solo hay que presionar restaurar, para esto tenemos dos opciones:

a) restaurar utilizando un firm previamente descargado y almacenado en el disco duro o cualquier medio extraible, para esto presionamos la tecla shift y damos click en Restaurar, una vez hecho esto se abre una ventana donde debemos buscar la ruta donde se encuentra el firmware que deseamos, no necesitas internet a menos que desees restaurar un ipod touch o iphone. Esta opción tiene la ventaja de que puedes instalar cualquier versión de firmware que desees siempre y cuando no sea menor a la del dispositivo.

b)restaurar con itunes desde el servidor de apple, necesitas conexión a internet  y te instalará siempre la versión más reciente del firmware, si tienes un ipod touch o iphone y deseas hacer jailbreak esta opción no es recomendable para tí.
