Saber and conocer both mean to know, but in a different sense.
Saber means to know facts or information.Here are the conjugations of saber in the present

I know the answer
Patricia knows how much the ticket costs.
When followed by an infinitive, saber means to know how to do something.

Conocer means to know or to be acquainted with (a person or place).
