Audit visits are performed once or twice a year by each Certification

Body to ensure that our Quality Assurance System can lead us to

reach customer satisfaction in the basis of ISO 9001:2000.

The following marks, and approval certificates are granted to

A-80 series.

SCOPE

A-80 LUXE series are quarter angle brass ball valves designed

for being connected to water pipe system.

As the granted certification shows, the quality materials tests

done to our valves allows them for being in permanent contact

with drinking water.

FEATURES

Body

It�s one piece made, avoiding any leak outwards.

Its higher mechanical resistance is achieved due to its design

and the high quality of the brass used in its manufacture.

The chrome plated surface finishing provides a great resistance

to corrosion conditions in long term installation.

End thread connections are according to ISO 228.

Stem and shut off

To obtain guaranteed leak tightness with a good performance,

we have patented different systems.

Stem and shut off are one piece made.

Supporting clip

Made of POM, is tested and certified to work in contact either

with drinking or hot water.

Designed and manufactured to guarantee the repeatability of the

compression against the shut-off.

Leak tightness system

The leak tightness of the A-80 series is the result of more than

30 years of testing and improvement. The internal and external

shape of this valve is not arbitrary, it�s the result of many tests

and its strongest point.

Handle

Made of injected ZAMAK, with a nickel plus chrome surface

finish to guarantee the best corrosion resistance and a perfect

surface appearance.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

-Operating pressure up to 16 bar [230 psi]. During test installation

can be pressured up to 25 bar [360 psi].

-Service temperature from 0”C [32”F], excluding frost, to 90”C

[194”F].

MATERIALS

Brass Rod

All brass components complies with the European Alloys standards.

-EN 12420: Forged Brass Products

-EN 12164: Copper and Copper Alloys � Brass rod for machined

parts

-EN 12165: Copper and Copper Alloys � Brass rod for stamped

parts.

NBR

All O-rings are made of NBR. This NBR is tested and certified

by recognised institutes to be used in drinking water supply

systems.

POM

The POM used for the injection of the supporting clip,

has been tested by recognised institutes to be used in drinking

water supply systems.

TESTS & CERTIFICATIONS

Hundreds of samples have been tested, by laboratories around

the world, in order to check their compliance with different

countries Standards and their performance and resistance

requirements.
