Se canta un salmo u otro canto apropiado, después del cual todos hacen la señal de la cruz.

From time to time on Sundays, there may be a blessing and sprinkling of holy water to recall Baptism. This replaces the Penitential Act below. During the sprinkling, the follow­ing or another suitable antiphon is sung.

Continue with the “Gloria,” page 8, except on Sundays of Advent, Ash Wednesday, and Sundays of Lent.

El rito de la bendición y aspersión del agua bendita sustituye el acto penitencial y pue­de usarse todos los domingos —desde las misas vespertinas de los sábados— y es re­comendable especialmente durante el tiem­po de Pascua. Durante la aspersión, se canta un canto apropiado. Por ejemplo:

Sigue el “Gloria” (página 8) los domingos, fuera del tiempo de Adviento y Cuaresma, las solemnidades y fiestas y en algunas cele­braciones peculiares.
