¡Hola a todos!

Ya se acaba otro trimestre de este curso y seguimos con la iniciativa delperiódico escolar…

¡Ya es nuestra segunda edición!

En ella os contamos algunas de las actividades, celebraciones, salidase iniciativas que se han llevado a cabo en el colegio durante el segundotrimestre, para que así podáis conocerlas y ver cómo hemos disfrutadoy cuánto hemos aprendido.

En la elaboración del periódico han participado todas las clases,incluyendo alumnos y profesores, por ello damos las gracias a todos porsu participación. Además, como en nuestra edición anterior, tambiénpodéis leer nuestras noticias en inglés.

Por último, señalar que el lanzamiento de esta edición coincide con lallegada de la Semana Santa, una época del año de especial relevanciapara nuestra ciudad y todos los lorquinos, por ello hemos realizado unconcurso de portadas para el periódico, las cuales podéis ver enexposición en las paredes de nuestro colegio. Todas son geniales yqueremos dar la enhorabuena a los participantes.

FIESTA DE LA PRIMAVERA

CLASE: 3 AÑOS SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 21/3/2019

Estuvimos cantando las canciones que nuestras seños nos han enseñado dela primavera, bailamos y corrimos bajo los maravillosos rayos desol. También vimos la importancia de un desayuno saludable y cantamos la canción dela fruta. Todo estaba riquísimo.

Para terminar, pusimos música muy alegre y primaveral y pintamos en las pizarras delpatio con tizas, animales y plantas que hemos estado trabajando a lo largode este trimestre y que pudimos observar en nuestra visita a la Granja-escuela de Lorca.

Con la llegada de la primavera,los alumnos de 3 años del centro se hananimado a realizar un pequeño picnic enel patio de infantil. Los niños se hanmostrado muy participativos y súpercontentos de poder realizar una actividadconjunta con el resto de sus compañerosde nivel al aire libre. Como estamostrabajando las plantas, decidimos sacarlas nuestras para decorar y para quepudieran tomar el sol. Fue un díamaravilloso en el que pudimos compartirexperiencias nuevas muyenriquecedoras.

PINTO FLORES PARA QUE ASÍ NO MUERAN

¡VIVA LA VIDA!

Acabando con el proyectode México y nada mejor que parapara celebrar el día de la mujer,Moli nos ha dejado alucinadoscon la apasionante vida de FridaKahlo: una mujer que supodisfrutar de la vida pese a todaslas dificultades que encontró ensu camino.

Para conocerla más de cerca, enclase hemos visto videos y leídocuentos sobre su vida, nos hemosdivertido trabajando algunas desus obras con diferentes técnicascomo la de rotulación y hastahemos hecho un auto-retratosimulando su técnica!

Además, aprendimos cómo es posibledisfrutar haciendo lo que te gustaaunque, a veces sea difícil,dejándonos contagiar por el espíritu deFrida: “Pies, ¿para qué os quiero si

tengo alas para volar?” Pinto florespara que así no mueran.

EN INFANTIL LO BORDAMOS

Infantil 5 Años SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 01/04/19

Infantil de 5 años visita el museo de bordados del PasoBlanco, que el primer museo del mundo dedicado al arte delbordado.

Los niños y niñas de infantil de 5 años han podido apreciar,con todo detalle, algunos de los bordados más representativosde la Semana Santa de Lorca.

En la denominada “Cámara de las Maravillas” se encuentraexpuesto el tesoro artístico de la Virgen de la Amargura:manto, palio, “paño de las flores” y estandarte de la Virgen.Todos estos bordados están declarados Bien de InterésCultural.

Al visitar el MUBBLA hemos comprobado la importancia delbordado en Lorca, que opta a su declaración como PatrimonioInmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO..

Las bordadoras son auténticas artistas, dando forma en oro yseda a los dibujos del director artístico, que diseña los trajessiguiendo los modelos de la civilización a que pertenece cadapersonaje: romanos, egipcios, persas, babilonios, hebreos…

Había un busto de Emilio Felices, gran director artístico delPaso Blanco y creador de una técnica de bordado exclusivadel tesoro artístico de la Virgen de la Amargura: el “puncocorto” o “punto español Felices”.

Desaparecido este director artístico y las bordadoras quetrabajaron él, ya no es posible bordar siguiendo esa técnica, yanadie sabe cómo se hace.

A Emilio Felices se debe también la “Capeta del Negro”, elretrato de un abisinio que te sigue con la mirada. Forma partede la caballería de la reina de Saba, la que llevó regalos aSalomón igual que luego harían los Reyes Magos de Orientecon el Niño Jesús.

Como homenaje a Felices, la puerta del MUBBLA lleva sunombre.

Aprendimos que los antiguos personajes de las procesiones seeligieron de la Biblia porque sus historias se parecen por algúnmotivo a las vivencias de Jesús o María (como el rey David, lareina Esther o el rey Salomón…). En cambio, otros salen por surelación con el Cristianismo, caso de Santa Elena y elemperador romano Teodosio. O también porque fueron muymuy malos, como los de la Caballería de la Visión de San Juan(Atila, Nerón, Cambises…). Hay algunos dioses paganos(Marte, el dios romano de la guerra) y héroes mitológicos(Perseo), que sirven de contraste entre las falsas religiones y elcristianismo.

Ya sabemos más de la Semana Santa de Lorca.

EXTRAORDINARIASMUJERES

SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 08/03/19GRUPO: 1º

Los niños y niñas de 1º de Primaria analizan la importancia del

Día Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora.

La historia está llena de mujeresexcepcionales, cuyas ideas y logros hanconseguido cambiar el mundo.Este es el comienzo del viernes 8 de Marzode 2019, DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LAMUJER TRABAJADORA, en los grupos de1º de Primaria en el C.E.I.P ”SagradoCorazón de Jesús”.En asamblea se abrió un debate muyenriquecedor con los alumnos y alumnas.Partimos de sus conocimientos previos, esdecir, de lo que sabían ellos acerca de estetema y llevamos a cabo una serie deinterrogantes para hacerles reflexionar:“¿Vuestras mamás trabajan?, ¿dentro ofuera de casa? Entonces, ¿tienen untrabajo o dos trabajos?, ¿qué podéis hacero hacéis las niñas al igual que los niños?”

Las chicas iban contando susexperiencias lúdicas con suscompañeros en el patio, como jugar alfútbol, correr carreras de atletismo, jugara las canicas, etc., al tiempo quereflexionaban acerca de la igualdad degénero en dichos juegos, puesto queTODOS Y TODAS ocupan actualmenteroles similares en los mismos.Además, reflexionamos sobre el papelde la mujer en distintas profesiones talescomo bombera, albañil, árbitro, piloto,barrendera, fontanera… e hicimosmención a distintas mujeresextraordinarias como FRIDA KHALO,COCO CHANEL y MARIE CURIE, entreotras.

CONDUCTOR DE PRIMERA

CLASE: 2º SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA SEGUDNO TRIMESTRE

Los alumnos/as de 2ºparticiparon en una actividadrelacionada con las normas básicaspara el uso de los transportespúblicos, de manera que sea seguropara ellos el uso de los mismos.La actividad consistió en unaexplicación sobre las distintas partesdel autobús, el funcionamiento, lasconductas que se deben evitar cuandoviajan en él, lo que se debe hacer encaso de accidente, etc.

A continuación los alumnos/as dieronun paseo en autobús por las cercaníasdel colegio para poder poner enpráctica lo explicado.Por último, la empresa Orbitalia les dioalgunos regalos a los participantes yles pidió que participasen en unconcurso para decorar sus autobuses.El ganador del concurso podrádisfrutar junto a su clase, de un viaje aldestino que ellos elijan.La actividad fue muy entretenida y losalumnos /as aprendieron mucho.

ELECTRIFICADOS

CLASE: 5º SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA Enero 2019

Muchos de los trabajos incluyeron elementos decorativos y los proyectos quedarongenial. Pudimos crear nuestro pequeño circuito eléctrico, con el fin de descubrir cómofunciona la electricidad, lo que nos hizo acercarnos de una manera entretenida ymotivadora al campo de la ciencia y la tecnología. Además, realizamos una pequeñaexposición en nuestras clases para poder observar detenidamente los creativostrabajos de nuestros compañeros.

A comienzos deltrimestre, los alumnosde 5º de primariarealizamos para la clasede Natural Science unproyecto sobreelectricidad, con lafinalidad de aprender aconstruir un circuitoeléctrico. La actividad larealizamos en casaindividualmente, porparejas o grupos. Elmaterial necesario era:un interruptor, unabombilla pequeña, unapila, cable…

RUTA DE SENDERISMO

CLASES: 5º Y 6º SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 15/03/19

El pasado 15 de marzo los alumnos desexto y quinto de Educación Primariarealizamos una ruta de senderismo de unos10 kilómetros.Comenzamos la salida desde nuestro colegiopara descubrir el Menhir de Serrata, tambiéndenominado de la Tercia. Se trata de losrestos de un yacimiento funerario megalíticode la Edad del Cobre, datado sobre el IIImilenio a.C. El Menhir se encuentra en elparaje denominado La Cañada del Burro.A medio camino hicimos una parada parareponer fuerzas con un almuerzo saludable,guardando toda la basura en nuestrasmochilas, pues hay que cuidar el medioambiente y ser respetuosos con la naturaleza.Seguimos por sendas, pistas y ramblas hastaCarracacla, bordeando tanto en la ida comoen la vuelta, un enorme pantano de agua.¡Hizo tanto calor, que a más de uno le habríagustado darse un chapuzón en el agua!Tras volver a cruzar por debajo la autovía,

volvimos a nuestro punto de partida,haciendo pequeñitas paradas paradescansar y bebiendo mucha agua.En el camino, pudimos ver la florarepresentativa del lugar: pino carrasco,zamarrilla de yesos, santolina, esparto,albardín, romero, tomillo, jara de escamillasy asnallo.Aunque la fauna característica fuera latortuga mora, el búho real, el halcónperegrino, jabalíes y conejos, no tuvimostanta suerte de poder contemplarlos.Pese a que la ruta a veces se nos hizo largay en algún momento pensábamos que noseríamos capaces de realizarla, estamosmuy orgullosos de haberlo conseguido,pues no hay nada más saludable que lapráctica de ejercicio físico en la naturaleza,con amigos y acompañándola de unaalimentación rica, sana y equilibrada.

Another term of this year is already finished and we continue with theinitiative of the school newspaper…

This is our second edition!

In it we tell you some of the activities, celebrations, excursions andinitiatives that have been carried out in the school during the secondterm, so that you can know them and see how we have enjoyed andhow much we have learnt.

In the elaboration of the newspaper, all classes have participated,including students and teachers, for this we thank everyone for theirparticipation. Moreover, as in our previous edition, you can also readyour news in English.Finally, note that the launch of this edition coincides with the arrival ofEaster, a time of the year of special relevance for our city and alllorquinos, so we have made a contest covers for the newspaper, whichyou can see on display on our school’s walls. All are great and we wantto congratulate the participants.

SPRING FESTIVAL

CLASS: 3 years old SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 21/3/2019

We were singing the songs that our teachers taught us about spring, we danced and we ran

under the wonderful sunlight. We also saw the importance of a healthy breakfast and sang a

song about fruits. Everything was delicious.

To conclude, we played very happy music about spring and painted, on the blackboards of the

playground with chalk, the animals and plants that we have been working on throughout this

term and that we observed during our visit to the Farm School of Lorca.

With the arrival of spring, the 3-year-

old students of the school have been

encouraged to make a small picnic in the

playground. They have been very

participative and very happy to be able to

carry out an outdoor activity together with

the rest of the 3-year-old groups. As we are

talking about plants in class, we decided to

take our plants to decorate and so they could

sunbathe. It was a wonderful day in which

we were able to share very enriching new

experiences.

Ending up with the Projectof Mexico and, nothing betterthan to celebrate Women’s day,Moli has left us amazed with theamazing life of Frida Kahlo:a woman who knew how toenjoy life, despite all thedifficulties she found in her way.

To know her closer, in class wehave watched videos and readstories about her life, we hadfun working on some of herworks with different techniques,like highlighting and even wehave done a self-portraitemulating her technique!

Besides, we learnt how it is possible to enjoy doing what you like although, sometimes it is difficult, the spirit of Frida has spread in us: Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?

I flowers, so they will not die.

IN INFANT EDUCATION WE EMBROIDER IT

5 years old SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 01/04/19

5-year-old children visit the Embroidery Museum ofPaso Blanco, the first museum in the world dedicatedto the art of embroidery.

They have been able to appreciate, in detail, some ofthe most representative embroideries of Holy Week inLorca.

In the so-called ‘Cámara de las Maravillas’, theartistic treasure of the Virgin (Virgen de la Amargura)is exposed: cape, canopy, "cloth of the flowers" andbanner of the Virgin. All these embroideries aredeclared of Cultural Interest.

When visiting the MUBBLA we have verified theimportance of embroidery in Lorca, which goes for itsdeclaration as Intangible Heritage of Humanity byUNESCO.

The embroiderers are real artists, giving shape ingold and silk to the drawings of the artistic director,who designs the suits following the models of thecivilization to which each character belongs: Romans,Egyptians, Persians, Babylonians, Hebrews ...

There was a bust of Emilio Felices, great artisticdirector of the Paso Blanco and creator of anexclusive embroidery technique of the artistictreasure of the Virgen de la Amargura: the ‘puntocorto’ or ‘punto español Felices’.

Once this artistic director and the embroiderers whoworked with him disappeared, it is no longer possibleto embroider following this technique, and no oneknows how it is done.

Emilio Felices also owes the ‘Capeta del Negro’, theportrait of an Abyssinian who follows you with his eyes.It is part of the cavalry of the Queen of Sheba, whichbrought gifts to Solomon as the Three Wise Men willdo later with Child Jesus.

As a tribute to Felices, the MUBBLA door bears hisname.

We learned that the ancient characters of the paradeswere chosen from the Bible because their storiesresemble for some reason the experiences of Jesus orMary (like King David, Queen Esther or KingSolomon...). Alternatively, others appear because oftheir relationship with Christianity, in the case of SaintHelena and the Roman emperor Theodosius. Or alsobecause they were very very bad, like those of thecavalry of the Vision of San Juan (Attila, Nero,Cambises ...). There are some pagan gods (Mars, theRoman god of war) and mythological heroes(Perseus), which serve as a contrast between falsereligions and Christianity.

The children of 1st grade of Primary Education analyse the importance of International Women’s Day

History is full of extraordinary womenwhose ideas and achievements havemanaged to change the world.This is the beginning of Friday, March 8,2019, INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’SDAY, in the groups of 1st grade ofPrimary Education in the C.E.I.P"Sagrado Corazón de Jesús"A very enriching debate was openedwith the students in an assembly. Westarted from their previous knowledge,that is, from what they knew about thistopic and we carried out severalquestions to make them think: ‘Doesyour mum work? In or out of the house?So, does she have a job or two jobs?What can girls do as well as boys?’.

Girls told their playful experienceswith their classmates in theplayground, like playing football,running, playing marbles, etc., whilereflecting on gender equality in suchgames, since ALL (boys and girls)currently play similar roles in them.In addition, we reflected on the roleof women in different jobs such asfirewoman, builder, referee, pilot,street sweeper, plumber... and wementioned different extraordinarywomen like FRIDA KHALO, COCOCHANEL and MARIE CURIE, amongothers.

FIRST CLASS DRIVER

CLASS: 2th SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA SECOND TERM

The pupils of second level tookpart in an activity related to the basicrules for the use of public transport, sothat they can use them safely.The activity consisted on anexplanation about the different parts ofthe bus, the functioning, the mannersto avoid when travelling in it, what theyhave to do in case of accident, etc.

Then, the pupils went on a short trip inthe bus around the school, to put intopractice what they were told.

Finally, the Company Orbitalia gavethem some presents to the assistantsand they were asked to take place in adrawing contest to decorate theirbuses. The winner can enjoy, togetherwith his/her class, of a trip to thedestination of their choice.

The activity was vey entertaining andthe pupils learnt a lot.

4th AQuestion 1: What should be done to be a head teacher?- You have to work hard and very well.Question 2: How did you feel when told you that you were goingto be a head teacher?- It felt good, but at the same time nervous because it’s a very bigresponsibility.Question 3: What do you like most about this job?- To be able to propose good things for the school.Question 4: Would you like to be Lorca’s most famous headteacher?- Yes, I would like to be famous for the good things I do for myschool.Question 5: If they told you to change your job. Would you stay asa head teacher, director or teacher?- I don’t want to stop being a teacher, but I like new challenges.

4th BQuestion 6: Do you like teaching?- Yes I do, what I like the most is teaching.Question 7: Do you like to share your class with Miriam?- I love it, sharing is always good.Question 8: In what other job would you like to work?- Singer or actress.Question 9: What is your favourite sport?- I like all sports, but the most paddle and tennis.Question 10: Did they propose you to be a head teacher?- Yes, they proposed it to me because they trusted me, I thoughtabout it and I decided to accept.

teaching. I also liked journalism.Question 12: How is your character?- I think happy, kind… or at least I try it. I really like smiling.Question 13: What did you feel when you become a headteacher?- Well, it was a mixture of sensations, at the same time gratitudeand nerves.

The students of the fourth course of primary have interviewed the teacher Lydia Valero Merlos, that in thissecond term she has become the new head teacher. Here we present a compilation of the most interestingquestions of the interview.

ELECTRIFIED

CLASS: 5th SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA January 2019

Many of the Works that we did included decorative elements and the projects wereamazing.We could create our little electrical circuit, and we discovered how electricity works, whatmade us approach in a enjoyable and motivating way to the scientific and technologyfield. Besides, we did a small exhibition in our classrooms to be able to look closely atour classmates creative works.

At the beginningof the term, wemade a Project withthe aim of learninghow to build anelectrical circuit. Wemade the activity athome, individually, inpairs or groups.The things that weneeded were: apower switch, a smalllight bulb, a battery,cable,...

HIKING ROUTE

CLASSES: 5th & 6th SAGRADO CORAZÓN AL DÍA 15/03/19

On March 15th, the pupils of sixth and fifthof Primary Education went hiking on a 10kilometres route.We started our journey from our school todiscover the Serrata Menhir, also named of theTercia. It is about the remains of a megalithicfuneral site of the Copper Age, dated arounfthe III Century b.C. The Menhir is in the placecalled La Cañada of the Monkey.In the half way, we stopped to rechargebatteries with a healthy snack, keeping allrubbish in our backpacks, since we have totake care of the environment and be respectfulwith nature.We continued for paths, fields and watercourses until Carraclaca, bordering a hugemarsh of water.It was so hot, that more than one would haveliked to take a dip in the water!

After returning to cross under the motorway,we came back to our starting point, makingsmall stops to rest and drinking a lot ofwater.In the way, we could see the representativeflora of the place: carrasque pine tree,zamarrilla de yesos, santolina, esparto,albardín, rosemary, thyme, jara ofescamillas and asnallo.While the characteristic fauna was thethighed tortoise, the royal owl, the pilgrimfalcon, boars and rabbits, we did not havesuch a good luck to spot them.Despite the route was in some momentslong and in one point we thought we couldnot be able to end it up, we were very proudof having done it, since there is nothinghealthier than the practice of physicalexercise in the nature, with friends and aswell as a good, healthy and balanced meal.
