The rack design builds on the resilience of the
modules. Each rack can contain up to 5 modules
connected in parallel and fused to the 900V high
voltage bus bar.
The drawing at left side shows 4 modules in the rack.
Most of the racks in the solution will have 4modules,
but 25% will also be populated with a 5th module.
The height of the 5 module rack is 2.54m or 460mm

Every module (module 1 to 5) within the rack will report its own status, warnings and alarms. Most of them are
repeated here as the M1000 will handle and store those status summaries, warning and alarms on top of
controlling the performance of each module. Beyond its control, monitoring and storage (max. 30 days)
function, it also communicates all the parameters from cell, module and rack info to the ExiNMS manager.

• Narada Client Servers are deigned to handle up to 10,000 nodes/ modules each and are able to store full site
information for 10 years+, which are meant to be operated in either core or client mode and fully redundant
• Client servers: 1&2/ 3&4 will back-up each other and communicate to the PCS control center A&B respectively
through Ethernet or any other public or private protocol.
• Core servers: A&B are expected to communicate with customer’s Network Operating Center(NOC)
