The HIGH FREQUENCY transmissions, for concrete is designed to give maximum satisfaction to the user, as long as theinstructions of use and maintenance containedin thismanual.

The transmissions will be used by personnel trained for this job it will only be used in specific jobs for which it has beentechnically developed, afterhaving readtheinstructions containedin thismanual and whichmust be followedcorrectly.

The manufacturer or authorised distributor mustbe consultedabout any doubts.

Industrias Techno-flex S.A. will not accept any responsibility derived from incorrect installation, manipulation or misuse of thetransmissions. Thedata containedin this manualare correct from themoment of editing. However themanufacturer reserves therightto modify thecharacteristics, without priornotice in considerationof contract commitment of continuousimprovement.

No actingaccording to theinstructions indicatedin this manual, will cause thecancellation ofthe guarantee.

General Characteristics

Technical Data

The HIGH FREQUENCY transmissions fulfils the E.C regulation of safety at work low voltage and vibration in portable machinesor hand driven, as well as ISO 6081 regulation, regarding noise at the place of work. However the use of hearing protectionduringthevibratingtime.

The manufacturer willnot accept responsibilities for accidentsif theyderive fromstructuremodification.

For safety reasons and so as to avoid an accidental stantin, don't forget to disconnect the transmission from the converter whensomekindofoperationorpartsubstitutionismade.

The HIGH FREQUENCY transmissions are designed to vibrate concrete and be used under the hardest conditions, bothenvironmentalaswellasuse.

The vibratingneedle are equippedwith a powerful motor encased in EPOXY resin, protecting thefromvibration.

All the models VAF are factory-equipped with thermal protection against over-heating. When the system detects an increase oftemperature over the predetermine levels, the needle stops automatically. One has dissapeared the conditions that have

producedthe stoppingthestarting is automatic.

Thevibarting needle are protected by a thermal system, the stopped for theneedle doesn't mean a fault, only when thevibratingneedleis into theconcrete, probably exist a fault.

Ifthestoppedisproducedwiththeneedleoutofconcrete,itsnotanfault,issimplyanaturalprotection.

The transmissions' needle of HIGH FREQUENCY must be submerged into the concrete , to facilitateits cooling.

Avoid the vibrating needle working in contact with solid and ridged prominentobjects for long periods of time.

Theneedleswithoutthermalcan'tbeoutoftheconcretemorethan5minutes,foravoidapossibledamageofthewinding.

In case that the stopping will be produced with the needle into the concrete and vibrating it, the equipment must be stoppedimmediately. It will be check and repair if it is necessary. Under any circumstance, continue vibrating, because it produced thebreakdown in the needle motor.

Beforestarting, thetransmission must be checked, payingspecialattention forthe started of plug, electric cable,switch box, andfunctioning of this. Beforeany rib, rupture or damageit must be repaired,to avoid subsequenly faults.

Under no circuntance,makeany reparation or changelof pieceswiththe hose plug into thecoinnection plug of theconverter.

Once it hasbeen revised, check that thetransmission's switchis in position "0", connect theplug up to theconnection base of theconverterand may be started subsequenly thetransmission switchmay bemovedto theposition "I".

useconverter'splug forstartingup or stop it,always must be used with thecorresponding switch.

Under circumstances, have the arrange switch of the needle in position "I" (starting position) before that the converter hasbeen started, it means that the first the converter must be started and then the vibrating needle, because it starts on load andovercoat in Single-Phasemodels mayproducea fault in themotor of theconverter.

With temperaturesbelow3 C.,the vibrator may present difficultiesto start after a long period stopped, this is dueto thesolidifyingofthegreasebearingsandofthecable,itmuststartlettingthevibratorrunlightlongenoughfornormalvibrationtobeachieved.

Be careful to avoid that the electrical cable works forming Knots or interlacing, also with very closed bend, this producesprematureand unnecessary wearing of theflexiblecable, causing eventheir immediatebreakage.

Avoid the electrical cable being near heat sources, or that it slips to where there are objects with sharp edges, it must also beprotectedfrom heavymachinesand other objects whichmay causeits deterioraton.

Donotallowpersonnelnotcapabletomakeuseofthevibratorormanipulatetheelectricparts.

The concretemust vibrate inhorizontallayers, the needlemust beused tomove the concretelaterally.

The vibratormust bestoppedwhileit isintroducedinto the concrete, tostop itmust betakenoutof itfirst.

Instructions for Use

Depending on conditions of use and at the maximum every year, must be carried out a complete overhauling of the converter.Thestateoftheplug,electriccable,needlesbearings,wearofexteriortubsandtheendsmustbecheck.

If the loose bearings, heats up or make too much noise must be replaced and always remember

The greasing of the bearing must be done with grease STABURAGS NBU 4 from the firm KLBER LUBRICATION or any otherequivalentone.

Remember, for safety reasons do not forget to disconnect converter the transmissions when some kind of operation or partsubstitution is made.

IndustriasTechno-Flex S.A., guarantees the productsand components theymanufacture, for a period of 6 months.

The guarantee covers all the defects from manufacturing of the components of the product, as well as their replacement orsubstitution, on behalf of theTechnical After SalesService.

The guaranteedoes not cover themisuse or inadequate manipulation, on behalf of theuse of thetransmission, nor theincorrectconnection, knocks, maltreatmentor repairingby unauthorised personnel.

During the period of guarantee the breakdowns must be repaired by personnel from Industrias Techno-Flex S.A., authorised todoso, ifthis isnotso the right given bytheguaranteewill belost.

The equipment which has been dismantled or manipulated previously by personnel unauthorised by Industrias Techno-FlexS.A.,willnotbeinguarantee.

Inallthecasesof application for guarantee, mustsend the equipment toIndustrias Techno-FlexS.A.,or where theyindicate.
