La gran mayoría, somos individuos saturados de información (televisión, radio, revistas y periódicos en papel, en internet, redes sociales, amigos, líderes de opinión, etc.)

Valorar lo realmente importante de todo ese ruido informativo, es un ejercicio de síntesis personal con referencia obligada a nuestros valores éticos y de formación.

Todo esto me lleva a asegurar que el futuro más próximo se presenta muy positivo, según los resultados del último Fitur 2015 (Feria Internacional de Turismo en Madrid), el turismo, sigue siendo una industria con un auge imparable en Marbella y su entorno, y esperemos se mantenga por muchos años.

Puntualmente como cada dos meses, desde hace casi 20 años, nuestra publicación sigue informando de un aspecto esencial, como es los eventos culturales y gastronómicos de nuestra ciudad.

Destacamos en esta edición varias exposiciones, excursiones guiadas por los monumentos históricos de Marbella, el Carnaval 2015, Menús para Cenas de San Valentín, la nueva edición de La Ruta de la Tapa de Invierno 2015 de Marbella y San Pedro en marzo, y Semana Santa, de la cual incluimos programación.

En nuestra edición de Abril/Mayo 2015, celebramos nuestro 20 cumpleaños, solo por mandar un email de felicitación a [email protected] antes del 20 de marzo te llevas un relajante premio directo, como un día de Wellness en el Centro Plaza del Mar.

Most of us are saturated with information (television, radio, printed and online versions of magazines and newspapers, the social networks, friends, opinion leaders, etc.)

How to evaluate what is really important out of all that information noise is an exercise in personal assimilation with a necessary reference to the values instilled in us by ethics and education.

All of this brings me to the assurance of a very positive near future, according to the results of the last Fitur 2015 (International Tourism Fair in Madrid), and that tourism will continue to be an industry whose growth is unstoppable in Marbella and the surrounding area, and hopefully it stays for many years.

As we do every two months for the last almost 20 years, our publication continues providing information on an essential aspect, such as the cultural events and gastronomy of our town.

In this edition we highlight several exhibitions, guided tours to the historical monuments of Marbella, the 2015 Carnival, Menus for St. Valentine dinners, the new edition of the 2015 Winter Tapas Route in Marbella and San Pedro in March, and Easter Week, which we include programming.

Luís Feito donó al Museo del Grabado trece de las obras en 2006. Recientemente, Feito ha realizado una segunda dona-ción de obra gráfica al museo, que incluye tres nuevas series de gran formato que el autor ha titulado con topónimos locales: “Marbella”, “Sierra Blanca” y “Barbacana”, dejando así cons-tancia de su amor por Marbella. Luís Feito donated thirteen works to the Museum of Engravings in 2006. He has recently made a further donation of graphic works to the museum, including three new large-scale series to which the author has given local place names: “Marbella”, “Sierra Blanca” and “Barbacana”, clearly showing his love for Marbella. La Cenicienta cuenta las andanzas de la jo-ven Ella cuyo padre vuelve a casarse tras la trágica muerte de su madre. Ella no quiere disgustar a su querido padre así que acoge a su madrastra y a sus hijas en la casa familiar. Pero el padre de Ella fallece repentinamente

y ahora se encuentra a merced de una nueva familia celosa y cruel, lo cual podría sumirla en la desesperanza, pero ella está decidida a cumplir con las últimas palabras que le dijo su madre: “Deberás ser valiente y amable”. Su destino podría cambiar cuando Palacio invita a todas las jóvenes casaderas a un gran baile. Una amable mendiga, armada con una calabaza y unos ratones, cambiará para siempre la vida de Cenicienta.

CASCO ANTIGUOOLD TOWN

Le proponemos que conozcan el conjunto histórico y arquitectónico del Casco Antiguo de Marbella. La planta del pueblo es prácticamente la misma que tenía en el siglo XVI. Se conserva magníficamente, en favor de una intensa vida comercial, donde se pueden encontrar los más variopintos establecimientos en un entorno de callejas blancas y balcones con geranios.

We propose that you get to know the historical and arqui-tectural ensemble of old town is practically the same as the original base was in teh XVIth century. It is magnificient preserved, and it favours an intense commercial life, where you can find the most diverse establishments, in an area of white washed side streets and balconies filled with Ge-raniums.

EL CASTILLOTHE CASTLE

Esta construcción se encuentra enclavada en el centro histórico de la ciudad y es la única que se ha conservado de la época musulmana. La medina de Marbella fue una de las ciudades más importantes de la “Rayya” (provincia de Málaga). La Marbella amurallada de los musulmanes abarcaba aproximadamente una superficie de 90.000 metros2. Sobre esta reducida área se extendería una trama de estrechas callejas, que todavía hoy conserva su trazado.
