• With the appropriated filtering, the proposed supercon-ducting wigglers can deliver up to 2100- 4400 Gy/s in the 50-150 KeV energy range.
• Spectral dose rate at 30 m from the source for the filtered spectrum:

ID Radiotherapy station at 30 m of ring
The Imaging AIBA facility will address the interests of biomedical scientist in:
the diagnosis (breast tumours) and treatment of cancer (paediatric oncology), circulatory and respiratory disease (vascular diseases, asthma), neurological (brain and spinal cord injuries), andmuscle-skeletal disease and kinesiology(arthritis and injuries related with sport medicine). And also address to archaeological and paleontological research
Imaging BM station
• Annexed laboratories:– Animal facility– Cell laboratory– Molecular biology laboratory– Chemical laboratory
Infrastructure and laboratories
In the future• Following the events of ID17 .• The fact that the station will receive patients
makes it to take in consideration: – To have a kind facility next to the hutch to minimize
the impact that a visually ‘aggressive’ structure like the synchrotron can have on patients.
– A patient safety system, aside of the General safety system, with a fast acting/ responding mechanism has to be designed.
Alba Imaging and Biomedical Applications
AIBA
Research in new applications in Radiotherapy against resistant tumours
New strategies in imaging:in Biomedical applications for Paleontological users and heritage researchers
We will suggest complementary beam time allocation proposals together with ID17 In order to ensure immediately the presence of users in AIBA
When the adequate conditions will be done walk to the preclinical and clinical trials
Not adequate on time Low support of the medical institutions No scientist working in this projects
I would sincerely thanks the teams of ID17 and INSERM
