Climate Change Overview

•Our school spent 10 weeks (1 term) focusing on climate change

•Climate change can be approached via science (duh), writing, math, social studies, and a little RLA (evaluating arguments)

•We did a mixture of readings, computer activities, interactive activities, field trips, videos, and assessments

7. Write a letter to Congress-students read the websites of several members of Congress, looking for climate change mention-then we wrote letters asking for more information

Summary

Students loved this term. They said they actually went home and talked to their friends and family about climate changed.
