The Europe 2020 Flagship Initiative “Innovation Union” specifies European Innovation Parnerships (EIP) as a new tool for speeding up innovation through linking existing policies and instruments. EIP “Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability” (COM(2012)79): Fostering a competitive and sustainable agriculture and forestry sector that “achieves more from less”: promoting synergies between CAP RD and H2020 policies
