Students can suggest the activities too. Then T writes on the blackboard three categories “in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening.” And make students brainstorm activities that they do at those times. Activity one: T gives Ss H1. A - Fill in the gaps with real time information. Use time expressions. You can look at the pictures if you do not understand the words.

B - Match the words to make sentences. Pay attention to the time expressions. Use images from the previous activity.

1) I get breakfast at half past seven in the morning.

2) I have TV at eight o'clock in the evening.

3) I have to school at twenty five to eleven in the morning.

4) I go up at a quarter past seven in the morning.

5) I watch to bed at two o'clock in the afternoon.

6) I go a shower at half past ten in the evening.

Time Bingo: T gives one bingo card to each student in the class and tells them to draw a different time (o’clock) on each clock face in pencil.

In the space next to each clock face, Ss should write in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening. Students should also use the expressions midday and midnight.

Then T calls out times. When Ss hear one of the times on their card, they should cross out the corresponding clock face.

The object of the game is for the students to get a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of crosses on their bingo card. When they have done this, they should shout Bingo!

This is the card to be chopped in order to call out the numbers.

This is the bingo card for the students to draw their own times (o'clock).
