Tejidos o soportes textiles

Las combinaciones de materiales (tejido de soporte y material de revestimiento) son múltiples y están determinadas por las

propiedades deseadas para el guante. Así, por ejemplo, podemos destacar:

Algodón: fibra natural de tacto agradable, antialérgico, transpirable. Con propiedades térmicas aislantes.

Poliéster: fibra termoplástica. Buena resistencia mecánica. Se puede combinar con otras fibras como el algodón.

Nylon: fibra textil sintética elástica y con buenas propiedades mecánicas.

Spandex: fibra sintética de gran elasticidad. Su nombre comercial es Lycra (by Dupont).

Kevlar: fibra resistente al corte y al calor. Es cinco veces más resistente que el hilo de acero.

Los recubrimientos de los tejidos

Para recubrir los soportes textiles de diferentes composiciones de guantes, se utilizan los siguientes materiales:

Nitrilo: es látex sintético de alta resistencia a grasas, aceites y diferentes tipos de disolventes.

Látex natural: es una solución extraída del árbol Hevea Brasiliensis. No resiste el contacto con grasas y se degrada con el calor.

Contiene proteínas y puede causar problemas de alergias a personas alérgicas a las citadas proteínas.

Neopreno: látex sintético. Buena resistencia a las grasas, aceites y disolventes.

Polituretano: es un polímero sintético con buenas propiedades mecánicas. (PU).

PVC: es un polímero sintético resistente a éteres y alcoholes glicólicos. No es recomendable para trabajar con acetonas ni

hidrocarburos aromáticos.

Combinaciones de tejidos textiles y recubrimientos

a) Soporte de algodón/poliéster con recubrimiento de nitrilo, para resistencia a los aceites y productos químicos.

b) Tejido de nylon recubierto con poliuretano, para trabajos delicados.

c) Tejido de algodón/poliéster con recubrimiento de látex, para trabajos generales.

d) Soporte de algodón/poliéster con recubrimiento de PVC, para protección contra el frío.

e) Tejido de nylon/Thunderon con recubrimiento de PU, para disipación de la electricidad estática.

f) Soporte de Kevlar con recubrimiento de PVC, para resistencia a los cortes.

Acabados interiores del guante

Flocado: interior del guante con floca de algodón. Absorbe la sudoración. Confortable al tacto.

Satinado: superficie interior con acabado liso y brillante.

Empolvado: Interior del guante empolvado con polvo de almidón. Tacto suave. Facilita la operación de poner y quitar el guante.

Clorado: Lavado del guante en agua clorada. En guantes de látex reduce el riesgo de alergias.

Fabrics or support fabrics

Combination of materials ( fabric support and coating material ) are multiple and are determined by the desired properties for the

glove. So for example we can highlight:

Cotton : Comfortable to touch, anti- allergic, transpirable.With insulating thermal properties.

Polyester. Thermoplastic fiber. Good mechanical resistance. It can be combined with others fibers such as cotton.

Nylon. Elastic synthetic textile fiber with good mechanical properties.

Spandex. Synthetic fiber with high elasticity. Its trade name is Lycra ( by Dupont)

Kevlar. Cut and heat resistance fiber. It is five times more resistant than steel wire.

The coating of fabrics

To cover the textile backings of different composition of gloves, the following materials are used:

Nitrile: synthetic latex with high resistance to grease, oil, and different types of solvents.

Natural latex: It is a solution extracted fron the tree Hevea Brasilensis. Not withstand with fats and it is degrades with heat. It

contains proteins and cause allergy problems to allergic people to said proteins.

Neoprene: Synthetic latex. Good resistance to fats , oils and solvents.

Polyurethane: it is a synthetic polymer with good mechanical properties (PU).

PVC: It is a synthetic polymer resistant to alcohols and glicol ethers. It is not advisable to work with acetones and aromatic

hydrocarbons.

Combinations of fabrics and coated textiles

a) Support of cotton/polyester with nitrile coating for resistance to oil and chemicals.

b) Nylon fabric coated with polyurethane for delicate works.

c) Cotton/polyester fabric coated with latex for general works.

d) Support cotton/polyester coated with PVC for protection against the cold.

e) Nylon/ Thunderon fabric PU coated for dissipating static electricity.

f) Kevlar support PVC coated, for resistance to cuts.

Interior finishes of gloves

Cotton flocked: interior of the glove with cotton flock. Absorbs perspiration. Comfortable to the touch.

Satiny: inside surface with a smooth and shiny finish.

Powdery finish: inside the glove powdered with starch poder. Soft touch. It facilitates the operation to insert and remove the glove.

Chlorinated: washing the glove in chlorinated water. In latex gloves reduces the risk of Allergies.

En ocasiones, la evaluación de riesgos en el lugar de trabajo muestra que el trabajador está expuesto a un riesgo potencial de que sus manos o brazos resulten dañados y que no puede ser eliminado mediante controles técnicos u organizativos. Por tanto, se debe asegurar que los trabajadores lleven la adecuada protección.

Los guantes de protección deben seleccionarse basándose en la evaluación de riesgos, que implica la identificación de los peligros y la determinación del riesgo por exposición a esos peligros.

Existen muchos tipos de guantes disponibles para proteger frente a una gran variedad de riesgos.

Es de vital importancia que el trabajador use los guantes específicamente diseñados para los riesgos y tareas correspondientes a su puesto de trabajo, ya que guantes diseñados para una función concreta pueden no ser adecuados, y no proteger, para otra situación parecida, pero no igual.

Protective gloves should be selected based on the evaluation of risks, which involves the identification of hazards and the risk assesments for exposure to such hazards.

There are many types of disposable gloves to protect against a variety of risks.

It is very important that the worker wear gloves designed specifically for riks and tasks corresponding to his job, because gloves designed for a particular function may not be suitable and not protect for another similar but not the same situation.

All goods supplied by IRIDOI Tools belong to the Company till the full payment of the Invoice is done by customer according to the general terms mentioned in it.The apyment by means of promissory note, bank check, accepted bill of Exchange or bank payment order will not considered as final payment until the total amount is collected.In case that customer does not make the payment as the agreded conditions, IRIDOI tools Will have the right to have the use of the good with immediate effect avoiding any harm.

4. Transporte | Transport

El transporte será por cuenta de Herramientas IRIDOI, s.l. para pedidos superiores a 350 euros dentro de España. Siendo la elección del transportista por cuenta de Herramientas IRIDOI, s.l.Es responsabilidad del cliente verificar que los paquetes lleguen sellados y sean conformes con el albarán de entrega del transportista. En caso contrario el cliente deberá hacer constar en dicho albarán la incidencia.

Postage is paid by IRIDOI Tools for purchase order over 350 euros within spanish territory. IRIDOI tools will take charge of the selection of the transport Company.The customer will be responsable for verifying that the parcels are recieved in sealed condition properly sealed and conforming to the delivery note.Otherwise customer will have to mention all kind of incidence on the delivery note.

5. Garantía | Warranty

Todos nuestros productos están amparados por la garantía de Herramientas IRIDOI, s.l. contra defectos de fabricación.En las devoluciones amparadas por esta causa, Herramientas IRIDOI, s.l. se compromete ( previa recepción en nuestras instalaciones y control del Dpto. calidad ) a solventar el defecto en esa herramienta y si no fuese posible se la repondrá por otra igual sin dicho defecto.Las devoluciones serán siempre a portes pagados por el cliente. La garantía no cubre los defectos derivados del desgaste o la mala utilización del producto.

All our products are covered by the warranty issued by IRIDOI Tools against any manufacturing defect.In these cases IRIDOI Tools commits ( subject to the reception of the good at our end and after being checked by our quality control department ) to solve the defect in that tool and if that was not posible, the tool will be replaced.The transportation of any material returned to IRIDOI will be arranged by the customer.Warranty does not cover the defects due to wear and tear or the misuse of the product.

6. Jurisdicción y ley aplicable | Applicable law and Jurisdiction

Las partes se someten a la jurisdicción exclusiva de los juzgados de la ciudad de Vitoria-Gasteiz (Alava) para la resolución de cuantas controversias pudieran surgir entre ellas.Estas condiciones se regirán por las leyes españolas.

Both parties will come under to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of the City of Vitoria- Gasteiz ( Alava) for the resolution of any dispute.These terms will be governed by Spanish law .
