TERRITORIO OKUPADO5º ANIVERSARIO TOK

Con motivo del 25 aniversario del Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno, Territorio Okupado presenta la exposición que conmemora sus primeros cinco años de existencia, durante los cuales se consolida un efectivo proyecto de colaboración entre el CAAM y la Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño Gran Canaria.El museo es okupado por los alumnos de la Escuela de Arte para favorecer un encuentro de ideas, creatividad, aprendizaje y comunicación. Así, Territorio Okupado constituye un espacio en el que se comparten y se procesan iniciativas y conocimientos, que circulan en dirección de ida y vuelta: del CAAM a la Escuela de Arte y viceversa. En este quinto aniversario los alumnos se enfrentan a un singular proyecto: generar un discurso expositivo a partir de obras de la propia Colección CAAM.La Escuela de Arte okupa las salas de San Antonio Abad con planteamientos estéticos, lenguajes artísticos y formatos cuya variedad complementa la de los diferentes lenguajes que crearon y consolidaron los artistas del Archipiélago durante el siglo XX.Los alumnos de Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Diseño Gráfico y Diseño de Interiores presentan su particular homenaje, en el que parten del retrato y de la obra de diez de los artistas de la Colección CAAM para fusionarlos en otras tantas diez instalaciones de carácter efímero. Las piezas resultantes representan “imágenes simbólicas” de Santiago Santana, Jorge Oramas, Felo Monzón, Tony Gallardo, Plácido Fleitas, César Manrique, Juan Ismael, Martín Chirino, Manolo Millares y Manuel Padorno.Los Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior de Cerámica Artística y de Artes Aplicadas a la Escultura se relacionan con las obras de Plácido Fleitas, Martín Chirino y Tony Gallardo a partir del aprendizaje y puesta en común de conceptos adquiridos en el taller impartido por el artista Juan Correa. El Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior de Fotografía Artística es el último de los que forman parte de este especial Territorio Okupado. La fotografía constituye uno de los lenguajes artísticos que impregnan el arte a lo largo de todo siglo XX, que se convierte en este caso en un perfecto complemento de la exposición.

On the occasion of the 25th CAAM anniversary, Territorio Okupado presents this exhibition to celebrate its first five years of existence. During this lapse of time, a successful collaborative project between the arts centre CAAM and the art school Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño Gran Canaria has been established. The museum is okkupied by the students of the school to trigger an exchange of ideas, creativity, learning and communication. This way, Territorio Okupado provides the base for a place where initiatives and knowledge are shared and developed. These make a non-stop round trip between CAAM and the art school.On this fifth anniversary, the students undertake a particular project: producing an exhibition discourse with works belonging to the CAAM collection. The art school okkupies the halls at the venue San Antonio Abad with its aesthetic approaches, artistic languages and formats, the variety of which complements those

of the different languages created and established by Canarian artists during the 20th century.The students at the Superior Graphic Design and Interior Design Art Courses show their particular tribute: they use the portrait technique and the works of ten artists pertaining to the CAAM collection to turn them into ten more ephemeral installations. The ensuing works represent «symbolic images» by Santiago Santana, Jorge Oramas, Felo Monzón, Tony Gallardo, Plácido Fleitas, César Manrique, Juan Ismael, Martín Chirino, Manolo Millares and Manuel Padorno.The Higher Associate Degrees in Artistic Ceramics and Applied Sculptural Arts are strongly influenced by the works of Plácido Fleitas, Martín Chirino and Tony Gallardo. Juan Correa is in charge of the teachings and general coordination of concepts in the corresponding workshop.The Higher Associate Degree in Artistic Photography is the last one taking part in this special edition of Territorio Okupado. Photography has become one of the artistic languages that pervade the art of the 20th century, which, in this case, turns to be the perfect complement for this exhibition.

Zum 25. Jubiläum des Kunstzentrums Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno präsentiert Territorio Okupado eine Ausstellung, die die ersten fünf Jahre dieser Kunstgruppe feiert. Während dieser Zeit wurde ein erfolgreiches Zusammenarbeitsprojekt zwischen dem Zentrum CAAM und der Kunstschule «Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Gran Canaria» eingerichtet.Das Museum wird von den Schülern der Kunstschule okkupiert. Sie haben es vor, einen Austausch von Ideen, Kreativität, Lehre und Kommunikation zu ermöglichen. Auf diese Weise stellt Territorio Okupado die Basis für einen Raum dar, wo Initiativen und Kenntnisse mitgeteilt und verarbeitet werden. Diese machen eine Hin- und Rückreise vom CAAM in die Kunstchule und umgekehrt. An diesem fünften Jubiläum b eabsichtigen die Schüler ein besonderes Projekt: einen Ausstellungsdiskurs mit gewissen Werken der CAAM-Sammlung zu erzeugen. Die Kunstschule okkupiert die Kunsthalle San Antonio Abad mit ihren ästhetischen Ansätzen, künstlerischen Sprachen und Formaten, deren Allerlei als Komplement jener Sprachen fungiert, die von den kanarischen Künstlern im 20. Jahrhundert erschaffen und gefestigt wurden.Die Schüler der Höheren Kunstausbildung in Graphik-Design und Inneneinrichtung verwirklichen ihre besondere Huldigung: sie verwenden die Porträtstechnik und dazu die Werke von zehn Künstlern, die sich in der CAAM-Sammlung finden, um sie in ebenso zehn schnelllebigen Installationen zu verwandeln. Die nachfolgenden Werke stellen «symbolische Bilder» von Santiago Santana, Jorge Oramas, Felo Monzón, Tony Gallardo, Plácido Fleitas, César Manrique, Juan Ismael, Martín Chirino, Manolo Millares und Manuel Padorno dar.Die höheren Kunstausbildungskurse in Kunstkeramik und Angewandter Kunst für Bildhauerei sind von den Werken von Plácido Fleitas, Martín Chirino und Tony Gallardo stark beeinflusst. Der Künstler Juan Correa leitet den entsprechenden Workshop und ist für dessen Koordination verantwortlich. Der höhere Kunstbildungslehrgang in künstlerischer Fotografie ist der letzte Beteiligte in dieser besonderen Darstellung des Territorio Okupado. Die Fotografie ist ohne Zweifel eine der künstlerischen Sprachen, die die Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts geprägt haben. In diesem Fall wird sie zur perfekten Ergänzung unserer derzeitigen Ausstellung.
