The categorisation of vocabu lary aids learning, and the ability to link words to particular themes will be useful to students in their careers as translators. Metodología de Trabajo

7tudents should come to class with a working knowledge of the new vocabulary in the

unit to be covered. The teacher will provide clarification of the meanings of new words.

8ost of the material covered will be in the set te)tbook, but students are encouraged to

seek articles, stories, and other sources that might help them enrich their knowledge of

English.

Metodología de Evaluación

7tudents must pass a parcial  and a final e)am. + mark of four" or above constitutes a

 pass. The e)ams will test students9 knowledge of new vocabulary and their ability toapply it. An material covered in class ma be e!amined but the core e)aminable

material in the final e)am for regular students is units %15 of the book  English

Vocabulary in Use Advanced.  Libre students will potentially be e)amined on the entire

 book of %55 units and will have to take an oral e)am.
