Procedimiento para el registro de Laboratorios de Prueba (LP).NOM-222-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018

• El Transitorio Tercero de la NOM-222-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018 (NOM)establece que:

• La Dirección General de Normas (DGN) informará a través delSistema Integral de Normas y Evaluación de la Conformidad(SINEC), el procedimiento para el registro de Laboratorios dePrueba (LP), así como el envío del informes de resultados para elcaso de los LP Nacionales.

• La publicación del procedimiento se hará 60 días naturalesposteriores a la publicación de la NOM en el Diario Oficial de laFederación (DOF).

• La publicación de la NOM en el DOF fue el 31 de enero de 2019.

Accredited and approved according to the Federal Law about Metrology and Standarization (Mexican legislation).

Los informes son reconocidos para la obtención de un permiso sanitario previo de importación, autorizados por la ComisiónFederal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios o cualquier otra autoridad del gobierno mexicano.The reports are recognized by COFEPRIS (by its initials in spanish) to get a previous sanitary permit for importation or byany mexican autorithy.

Es reconocidos por autoridades competentes o entidades de acreditación en el extranjero, o;The reports are recognized by foreign autorithies or foreign accreditation entities; or

Cumple con la Norma NMX-EC-17025-IMNC-2018 o ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

The testing laboratory is under conformity of NMX-EC-27025-IMNC-2018 or ISO/IEC 17025:2017

Procedure for Testing Laboratories registration (national and foreign).NOM-222-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018

• The Third Transitory of NOM-222-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018 (NOM forits initials in spanish) indicates that:

• The Mexican Bureau of Standards (DGN for its initials in spanish)will inform through the “Sistema Integral de Normas y Evaluaciónde la Conformidad” (SINEC for its initial in spanish), the procedurefor the testing laboratories registration, as well as the testreport submission (only for national laboratories).

• The procedure will be published 60 calendar days after the NOM’spublication in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF for itsinitial in spanish).

• The NOM was published in DOF on January 31 th, 2019.
