Theoretical BasisO In essence, the paper analyzes the
intersections of time and space depicted in the boarding school Ernesto attends, the chicherías from the Huanupata neighborhood, the houses of the rich hacendados, and, finally, the caseríos where the tenant farmers reside. Said chronotopic analysis reveals only one suitable option for Ernesto: the ayllu, the decolonial space of memory transformed in the future.
