It is complex to communicate complex ideas such as those Desirée's here. My Body, My Rules This girl has decided she will never again remain silent. She is removing the thread that kept her silent. At last, she understands she needs to take care of herself, because people are not protecting her true identity as a person or even as a girl. Society, culture is always telling girls what to do, what they are like. There is no respect in this message because it ignores their identities. This girl knows that taking care of herself means struggle. She cannot only be. She will have to fight for her identity. ❤ Esta chica ha decidido no volver a callarse. Se está quitando el hilo que la mantenía callada. Al fin entiende que necesita cuidarse, porque la gente no protege su verdadera identidad, como persona o incluso como chica. La sociedad, la cultura siempre le está diciendo a las niñas lo que tienen que hacer, cómo son. No hay respeto en este mensaje porque ignora sus identidades. Esta chica sabe que cuidarse significa luchar. No puede sólo ser. Tendrá que luchar por su identidad. ❤
