Mi nombre es Ángela y vivo en Marbella. Me gusta estudiar, hacer deporte y cultivar mi hobby, que es el dibujo. Cuando sea mayor, me encantaría hacer la carrera universitaria de Bellas Artes. Ésa es mi auténtica vocación.

Mi madre es profesora en el instituto donde curso 1º de la ESO. Se llama María. Es muy dulce y cariñosa. A mi padre le conocen mucho en Nueva Andalucía. Allí es donde tiene su taller de carpintería. Es muy trabajador y, sobre todo, buen ebanista.

Es conocido por su apellido: Martín.

Luis es mi único hermano. Estudia 3º de primaria, por decir algo, porque es muy vaguillo. Prefiere jugar y siempre es lo primero que hace cuando llega a casa.

Con esa costumbre, cuando tiene que hacer los deberes, hace enfadar a mamá. Aunque le quiero mucho, le hago rabiar de vez en cuando.

Estamos a finales de otoño, ha llovido y ha salido el sol. También el arco iris, que no dejo de mirarlo porque me gusta mucho contemplar sus colores.

Es espectacular.

Este fin de semana, tengo que escribir un relato corto, que nos ha mandado hacer nuestra profesora de lengua, para subir nota.

Después de pensarlo mucho, el tema va a tratar sobre las mariposas, esos insectos de vistosos colores, que desde pequeña, me han llamado la atención. Precisamente, este pasado verano, visité con mis abuelos un mariposario.

Me quedé admirada al entrar y ver que las mariposas volaban libremente, alrededor de los

visitantes y que se posaban sin miedo sobre ellos.

Es un jardín acristalado con muchas flores. De éstas, recogen el néctar para su alimentación.

De repente, en mi hombro se posó una que era de color naranja, mi preferido, por ser alegre y transmitirenergía.

Mi abuelo me hizo una foto para el recuerdo. Otras eran de color verde, marrón, blanco, y un largo etcétera. La guía nos explicó que son ovíparos, que tienen alas y antenas y que pertenecen a la familia de los lepidópteros.

Igualmente, nos expuso su ciclo vital, su proceso de metamorfosis, sus bailes nupciales y otras curiosidades, como que su vida media es de tres o cuatro semanas.

Todo lo iba anotando en un cuaderno, para que no se me olvidara. Lo pasé genial y nunca olvidaré ese día.

Con todos estos datos y mi inventiva, tengo la ilusión de que el trabajo legustará a la profesora.

Pronto llegarán las vacaciones de Navidad, fiestas alegres para algunas familias, pero no así para otras, que lo pasan muy mal, porque no tienen ni para comer.

Para ayudar, los profesores del instituto han ideado que cada alumno, voluntariamente, participe para llenar de alimentos los carros solidarios, que luego llevarán a la asociación Ser Humano de Marbella, que está haciendo una labor muy humanitaria, repartiendo comida entre los que mas lo necesitan.

En el salón de actos, nos reunieron a todos los cursos y nos explicaron que, desde pequeños, tenemos que con-cienciarnos para ayudar a las personas necesitadas y que tenemos que ser generosos con aquellos a los que les hace falta. Como le pareció tan buena idea, mi madre habló de este asunto con el director del colegio de mi hermano y van a colaborar para seguir nuestro ejemplo.

¡Ojala se corra la voz y sean muchas personas las que puedan cooperar!

Ya sea como voluntarios o aportando alimentos a esta loable asociación que da esperanza a las personas que tan mal lo están pasando debido a su precaria situación.

My name is Angela and I live in Marbella. I like to study, to do sports and to improve my hobby, which is drawing. When I am older, I would love to go to university and study Fine Arts. This would be my perfect aim in life.

My mother is a teacher in a school where she teaches 1º ESO. Her name is Maria. She is very sweet and very loving. A lot of people in Nueva Andalucía know my father. He is a carpenter and has his workshop there. He is a very hard worker and a very good cabinetmaker.

Everyone knows him by his surname, Martin

Luis is my only sibling. He is in his 3rd year of primary school, to say something about him; he is very lazy.

He loves to play and that is the first thing he does when he comes home from school and because of this he gets very cross with Mummy when he has to do his homework. Although I love him very much, I tease him sometimes.

We are reaching the end of autumn, it‛s been raining and the sun has come out, there is a beautiful rainbow which I can‛t stop looking at because I love to study the colours.

It is spectacular!

This weekend I have to write a short story for homework that was given to us by our language teacher so that we can get extra credits.

After given it a lot of thought, the theme for my story will be butterflies; I have loved these brightly coloured insects ever since I was very young. Actually, this summer my grandparents took me to visit a butterfly garden.

I was so excited to go in and see the butterflies flying around freely; they were flying around and landing on the

visitors without any fear.

We were in a conservatory that had lots of flowers. The butterflies feed on the nectar to get their food.

Suddenly, an orange butterfly landed on my shoulder, these are my favourites because it is a happy colour with lots of energy.

My grandfather took a photo as a souvenir.

There were so many different coloured butterflies.

The guide explained to us that they are oviparous, have wings and antennas and that they belong to the Lepidoptera family.

He also explained their life circle, their process of metamorphosis, their wedding dance and other curious facts.

Their average life span is between three and four weeks.

I wrote everything down in my notebook so that I wouldn‛t forget anything. I really enjoyed myself and I will never forget that day.

With all of the information that I got, I am sure that the story that I will write will please my teacher a lot.

Soon it will be the Christmas holidays, happy festive times with some family members, but it is not like that for a lot of people. They will have a terrible time with no food to feed themselves or their families.

In order to help, the teachers at school have had the idea that each pupil will voluntarily help in filling trolleys of food that they will then take to the Association Ser Humano Marbella. This humanitarian association is working so hard to share food amongst the hungry people in our area

Hopefully the word will spread and a lot of people will become involved and will help us.

They can help by becoming volunteers or by bringing food to this laudable association that gives hope to these very unfortunate people who are going through bad times due their precarious situation.
