Ventilated faade /
The ventilated facade is an external coatingthat protects the building from weather agentsand remarkably increases its thermal-acousticinsulation;
The system enhances these features in addition with a high esthetic quality.It is composed of a bearing metal structure,fastened on the wall of the building by bracketsand anchorages, getting three independent layers:an insulating bracket laid on the curtain wall,a natural ventilation air chamber and the externalfinishing frame slab.
A grid is placed at the base of the gap to let airpass through and avoiding accidental intrusions.At the top, a cap is placed to let the air come outand to prevent rain from entering.In summer, the stack effect created inside thegap produces a natural ascension of air, ensuringan efficient disposal of the heat accumulated onthe wall by sun radiation._______

In winter, the ventilated wall limits the heatdispersion outwards thank to the insulatingmaterial and the absence of thermal bridges.The air exchange inside the gap aids the outletof water vapour coming from inside the building,preventing surface condensate from forming andavoiding damage due to persistent humidity.
The system is composed of modulesmade with sealing edges ensuring significantadvantages as for duration of the wall and of thewhole building. Further, the almost total protectionof the insulating material and of the curtain wallfrom weather agents enables a dramatic reductionof costs and emissions in the atmosphere both forthe conditioning in summer and for the heating inwinter, with steady energy efficiency in time. _______
