Maquinabilidad Aceros INOX- Los Martensíticos y Ferríticosrequieren una Vc algo más baja quelos aceros corrientes.- Los Austeníticos son los más difi-ciles de mecanizar, ya que generanuna viruta plástica que crea un falsofilo de corte y es dificil de evacuar, asícomo un aumento de dureza en lassuperficies mecanizadas.Se recomienda reducir a la mitad laVc respecto a los aceros corrientes.- Se recomiendan ángulos dedesprendimiento de 150-170 y aumen-tar los ángulos de punta a 1300-1400,además de pequeñas Vc y grandespasadas para reducir el endurec-imiento superficial. Usar herramientasbien afiladas y con buena refrig-eración.- Por todo ello, IZAR ha desarrolladoherramientas de corte para trabajarINOX en estas aplicaciones:Taladrado / Roscado / Fresado.
Stainless Steel Properties- High content of Chromium.- Higher corrosion resistance thanother steels.
Stainless Steel Machinability- Martensitic & Ferritic ones requirea slightly lower Vc than standardsteels.- Austenitics are the most difficultfor machining, as they generate aplastic chip which creates a falsecutting edge that is difficult to eva-cuate, and also an increase ofhardness in the machined sur-faces.It is recommended to reduce Vc50% compared with standardsteels.- We recommend 150-170 rakeangles and 1300-1400 point angles,with low Vc and high cutting depthsto reduce surface hardening.Use well sharpened and cooledcutting tools. - For that purpose, IZAR has deve-loped cutting tools for the followingapplications in stainless steel: Drilling / Threading / Milling.

Usinage Aciers INOX- Les Martensitiques et Ferritiquesont besoin d´une Vc un peu plusreduite que les aciers courants.- Les Austenitiques son les plus di-fficiles de traiter, tenant comptequ´ils ont des copeaux plastiquesqui provoquent des faux filets decoupe. Ils sont difficiles à évacuer.De même ils augmentent la duretédes zones traitées. On suggère réduire à la moitié la Vcpar rapport aux aciers courants.- On suggère utiliser angles dedétachement de 15-17º, augmenterles angles de pointe à 130-140º,utiliser faibles Vc et hautes pasadespour réduire la dureté des surfaces.Employer de même des outils bienaffutés et bien refroidis.- Dans ce but, IZAR a dévéloppédes outils coupants pour travaillerles INOX dans les suivants :Perçage / Taraudage / Fraisage.
