INERVACION DEL SISTEMA DENTARIO Y LAS ESTRUCTURAS PERIMAXILARES
Maxilar superior:•Incisivos y caninos: inervados por el nervio dentario anterior, rama del nervio maxilar superior, que se introduce en el conducto dentario anterior. Se anastomosa con los otros nervios dentarios.•Molares: inervados por los dentarios posteriores que penetran por orificios en la tuberosidad del maxilar y terminan en anastomosis con el dentario anterior formando el plexo dentario superior.•Premolares: inervado por el dentario medio , si no existe, por el plexo dentario superior, de donde nacen los filetes pulpares, óseos y gingivales.
Están inervados por las ramas maxilar superior y mandibular del trigémino.

•Mucosa y surco vestibular (incluido la encía:•A nivel de incisivos: inervada por un ramos descendentes del suborbitario.
•A nivel de caninos, premolares y molares: inervada por un ramo gingival de los dentarios posteriores.
•Mucosa palatina (incluido la encía):•A nivel de incisivos y caninos:inervado por el nervio nasopalatino o esfenopalatino interno.
• A nivel de premolares y molares:inervado por el nervio palatino anterior. Este nervio se anastomosa a la altura del diente canino con el nasopalatino .

Maxilar inferior:•Las piezas dentarias del maxilar inferior están inervadas por el dentario inferior.•Presenta un tronco nervioso que desprende filetes (plexo) a los molares y premolares; a nivel del ápice del primer premolar se divide en dos ramas terminales: mentoniana e incisiva.•Los incisivos y caninos por la rama incisiva del dentario inferior. •Mucosa y surco vestibular (incluido la encía).• A nivel de incisivos y caninos:
inervada por el nervio mentoniano.• A nivel de premolares y molares:
inervada por el nervio bucal.
•Mucosa del piso de la boca y surco gingivolingual (incluido la encía):• A nivel de incisivos, caninos,
premolares y molares: inervado por el nervio lingual.
