EL FUEGO REFINADOR / PRUEBAS DE FE

Quisiéramos invitarles a leer este artículo del News-letter a la luz de la palabra de Dios, dirigiéndonos por medio de uno de los apóstoles, el verso se en-cuentra en 1era. De Pedro 1:7, y dice así: “Porque sometida vuestra fe, mucho más preciosa que el oro, el cual aunque perecedero se prueba por fue-go, sea hallada en alabanza, gloria y honra cuan-do sea manifestado Jesucristo”. En este versículo se le da mucho más valor e importancia a la fe que ¡al mismo oro! Qué pues entonces es tan importante que Pedro quiere llamar nuestra atención con algo, un recurso tan valioso haciendo una analogía entre ambos. Cabe destacar que menciona que el oro es perecedero (no dura para siempre) al contrario de la fe, que puede y debe durar hasta que nuestro Salva-dor regrese por segunda vez a este mundo a tomar consigo a su pueblo remanente, para morar con Él en las regiones celestiales. Entonces entendemos que el proceso que la fe tiene que pasar es tal, de tal modo y tan doloroso que será pasada por el fuego refina-dor, pero con el único objetivo de que nuestro buen Dios encuentre nuestra fe digna de alabanza y gloria, con el único crédito de ello, dado a nuestro Creador.

Este mes de septiembre que ha pasado, realmente se fue de una manera rápida, ya que hemos tenido gra-cias a Dios, mucho, mucho trabajo misionero. Dios nos ha permitido la oportunidad de comenzar nue-vos grupos de estudios bíblicos, así como de iniciar con el trabajo que conlleva el Centro de Influencia Adventista que les comentamos en el artículo de fa-cebook, en la cuenta del ministerio. Además de estos eventos, realizamos visitación en varias comunida-des, e impartimos clases en diferentes áreas, todas enfocadas con la finalidad de que puedan mejorar sus vidas a nivel integral es decir, física y espiritualmente.

Claro está que Satanás, no está contento con el tra-bajo y avance realizado por el ministerio, ya que ha puesto varios desafíos que a continuación relatare-mos, aunque como la sierva de Dios dice, “Cuenta las bendiciones y no las pruebas”, dentro de estos desa-fíos ha habido grandes enseñanzas, grandes bendi-ciones, y sobre todo nuestra fe se ha probado en el fuego, por lo cual damos gracias a Dios. Les invitamos pues a compartir con nosotros estas historias que sin duda son para fortalecimiento espiritual de todos.

OPOSICIÓN Y REVELACIÓN DE LA VERDAD

Desde el comienzo de este ministerio, en esta zona, hemos tenido problemas con oposición de otras religiones como es de esperarse, eso ya lo sabíamos de antemano al realizar obra pionera.

En toda la zona que abarca esta región, desde el prin-cipio comenzamos con la obra, dando clases y estu-dios bíblicos. Cada vez más gente comenzó a estar in-teresada en el mensaje que Dios tiene por medio de la Iglesia Adventista. La gente se preguntaba ¿Cómo es que ustedes siendo cristianos no hablan lenguas ex-trañas (desconocidas)? ¿Cómo es eso de que el día de reposo que ustedes guardan es el día sábado? ¿Cómo es que no toman Coca-Cola?!!!. Bueno sin lugar a du-das la verdad como dice la palabra de Dios siempre sale a relucir, y no es un trabajo humano el que hace que la gente entienda estas verdades si no que es to-talmente divino, nuestra única responsabilidad como cristianos, Adventistas del Séptimo Día, es presentar el mensaje de salvación, las verdades bíblicas. Quien en realidad hace todo el trabajo de conversión es el Espíritu Santo. Claro está que nuestro testimonio que damos cuenta mucho, ya que si solo somos oidores de la palabra y no hacedores, entonces la gente se dará cuenta de que no creemos en ese mensaje.

Gracias a Dios, nuestro Padre Celestial, nos ha dado la oportunidad de dar un buen testimo-nio, y esto ha influido para que la obra avan-ce, pero así mismo ha dado pie a la oposición.

Desafortunadamente en una ocasión, una perso-na se acercó a nosotros para comentarnos algunas noticias no muy agradables, pero que uno siempre puede esperar cuando está realizando obra misio-nera. Lo que nos comentaron fue que uno de los Li-deres Religiosos de la zona encargado de una de las Iglesias más tradicionales de México, estaba moles-to con nosotros, debido a que comenzamos a rea-lizar cursos bíblicos para niños en una comunidad.

Todo inicio cuando en una de las brigadas médicas que realizamos una señora se nos acercó para co-mentarnos que le gustaría que la visitáramos y que conociéramos a su hijo, quien es de capacidades especiales, ahí comenzamos a dar clases con en-foque bíblico y a medida que fue pasando el tiem

po, el joven de capacidades especiales comenzó a invitar a sus amiguitos para que asistieran tam-bién a las clases, ya que a él le gusta compartir.Después de varias semanas el grupo de niños se in-crementó hasta llegar a tener la cantidad de 20 ni-ños aproximadamente, dos días a la semana, por 2 horas y media. Dios hizo grandes milagros en los pequeños ya que se podía ver como a medida que asistían a las clases, su amor por Cristo empezaba a crecer y su vida comenzaba a cambiar para bien, a medida que comenzaban a aprender las verdades bíblicas. Después de un tiempo, este líder religioso comenzó a hablar con varias de las madres cuyos hijos asistían a las clases de nosotros, y empezó a hablar cosas negativas de las enseñanzas que com-partíamos con los pequeños. Él, fiel a su tradición, se apegó a las costumbres de su iglesia para apelar a la mente de las madres y así desanimarlas, claro está sin proveer una razón bíblica y válida para tal prohibición de igual modo, comenzó a lograr que varias madres les prohibieran a sus hijos el ir a las clases por temor a la crítica. Des-afortunadamente fue un momento triste para nosotros ese tiempo, pero que Dios lo utilizó para trabajar en favor de que nuestra fe se acrecentara, confiado en que Dios pronto haría algo para traer de vuelta a sus pequeños amados a las clases. Después de esas pláticas del líder religioso con las madres, nosotros empezamos a tener clases con solo 3 o 4 niños. Pero nosotros íba-mos gozosos y llenos de alegría de poder compartir ese tiempo con ellos. Y al mismo tiempo estábamos orando por los pequeños que faltaban y claro por el líder religioso, para que Dios suavizara su corazón y le hiciera entender que lo único que queremos es ayudar a la comunidad y que conozcan más de Jesús.

Después de varios meses, en que la situación pa-recía no mejorar mucho, pero que sin embargo nosotros seguíamos asistiendo fielmente a las cla-ses, las cosas dieron un giro positivo, ya que de-cidimos durante la temporada vacacional iniciar el primer Curso Bíblico de Verano Adventista en la misma comunidad donde impartimos las clases.Tuvimos diferentes actividades bíblicas, manualida-des, deportes y películas para los pequeños. Dios obró de manera maravillosa permitiendo que du-rante el curso que fue de una semana aproximada-mente, de 18 a 22 niños asistieran todos los días.

El fuego refinador

Al final tuvimos una hermosa reunión con comida, junto con los padres de los pequeños y para sorpresa de nosotros ese día nos reunimos aproximadamente 30 personas, para disfrutar de una tarde hermosa. Claro está que no pasaría desapercibido este evento para la oposición la cual nuevamente resurgió, y días después el líder religioso convocó a una reunión en su iglesia con la mayoría de las mamás que permitie-ron a sus hijos asistir al Curso Bíblico de Verano. De una manera poco cortes y un tanto desesperada, re-gañó a las mamás con palabras hirientes, por permitir que sus pequeños tomaran la decisión de continuar asistiendo a las clases, haciéndoles notar con voz au-toritaria que él, si así lo decidía podía prohibirles eso. Esto mismo fue relatado a nosotros por algunas de las madres quienes tristes por la actitud de este lí-der, nunca se imaginaron que el dejar a sus pequeño asistir a las clases fuera motivo de ser ofendidas. No-sotros tratábamos de animarlas, comentándoles que Dios es el único que conoce nuestro corazón y por lo tanto nuestros verdaderos motivos y anhelos, le diji-mos que ellas tenían que confiar en Dios, y orar por ese líder religioso, para que el amor de Dios le diera paz y tranquilidad respecto a nuestro ministerio y a las actividades que realizamos. Nosotros seguíamos orando por las mamás para que Dios fortaleciera su corazón y le decisión de las que aun querían permitir que sus pequeños asistieran a clases. Tiempo des-pués una señora se acercó con nosotros y nos dijo:

-¡hay el líder nuevamente volvió a hablar de ustedes! - Y me dijo que ya no dejara asistir a mis nietos a cla-se, porque solo íbamos a quedar confundidos y tam-bién dice que yo no me debo de acercar con ustedes, para que no me confundan, ¡pero yo no siento eso!

Nosotros estábamos sorprendidos de la sinceridad de esta señora al contarnos esto, luego ella prosiguió.

-Yo en realidad con quien me siento confundida es con él y cuando el líder religioso me habla de esa manera, tan descortés y con tanta frialdad, y él me sigue dicien-do que me voy a confundir, pero la verdad es ¡que quien me confunde es él! ¡Ya que él no está mostrando amor!

Nosotros estábamos agradecidos a Dios por haberle re-velado a esta mujer la luz con tanta claridad y recorda-mos la promesa bíblica de que Dios es quien libra nues-tras batallas y nosotros sin defendernos. Ella continuó.

- Yo no me siento confundida cuando estoy con us-tedes y cuando van a mi casa a compartir de Dios, yo lo que le he dicho al líder religioso es que ustedes solamente nos están enseñando acerca de la pala-bra de Dios y que quieren ayudar a la comunidad.

-Así es que ¡yo ya tomé mi decisión! Y yo voy a seguir mandando a mis niños para que vaya a las clases con ustedes. Y quiero que sepan que siempre serán bien-venidos en mi casa para compartir la palabra de Dios.

Para nosotros significó mucho que la señora mostrara-valor para defender aquello que le da paz que es Cristo Jesús, bien lo dicen las escrituras en Juan 14:27 “ La paz os dejo, mi paz os doy; yo no os la doy como el mundo la da. No se turbe vuestro corazón, ni tenga miedo”.

Gracias a Dios, las cosas han empezado a tomar su curso nuevamente, ya que los niños han comenzado a llegar poco a poco en más número cada vez, esto sin embargo no es obra humana, si no que sabemos que nuestro Buen Pastor, Cristo Jesús, está contento de ver nuevamente a sus pequeños en clases, apren-diendo las verdades bíblicas y conociendo más de Él.

----------------------------------------------------------- POR QUE YO TE SUSTENARÉ

En este mes que ha pasado, gracias a Dios hemos te-nido la oportunidad de crear nuevos grupos de es-tudio bíblico, y así mismo se han incrementado las actividades misioneras en el ministerio. Por lo cual hemos estado demasiado ocupados ya que somos solo 3 personas por el momento las que estamos de tiempo completo como misioneros, primeramen-te Dios esperamos que este año puedan llegar más misioneros, pero por lo pronto dice la palabra de Dios en Eclesiastes 9:10 “. Todo lo que te viniere a la mano para hacer, hazlo según tus fuerzas”... Noso-tros hemos clamado a esa promesa y sin duda nos alegramos al ver como Dios nos ayuda día en día. Sin embargo en ocasiones aun nos falta tiempo ¡inclusi-ve hasta para comer! Y así sucedió en esta semana, ya que un día estando arreglando la casa que prime-ramente Dios pronto funcionará como Centro de In-fluencia Adventista, no tuvimos tiempo de preparar la comida, nosotros sabemos la importancia de tener un buen alimento a tiempo para tener energía.

Ese día, además de no tener tiempo para poder preparar la comida, había otro desafío, y era que no teníamos prácticamente comida que preparar, Dios ha permitido que nuestra fe sea probada en ese as-pecto, y es que gracias a Él, siempre hemos tenido algo que comer. Por ahora el ministerio está pasando por escazes de recursos económicos, este ha sido un tiempo difícil ya que es una de las ocasiones en las que se ha agudizado más esta situación desde que comenzamos el ministerio. Pero hemos visto la mano de Dios proveyendo de manera milagrosa ya que nuestro Creador nos dio una muestra de su cariño por medio de una señora de la comunidad. La histo-ria es esta...

Ese día que estabamos trabajando en la remodela-ción de la casa para el Centro de Influencia, una se-ñora que es vecina nuestra, se acerco a nosotros, y nos dijo:

- ¿Hola, cómo están? tienen alguna actividad planea-da para el dia de hoy a las 3:00 pm?

Nosotros respondimos con un poco de intriga...

-No, el día de hoy únicamente vamos a trabajar aquí, ¿por qué?

Ella comentó...

- Es que les quiero hacer una invitación, ya que he preparado una comida para ustedes y me gustaría que fueran a mi casa el día de hoy para comer todos juntos, ¡ya tengo todo listo! ¿les gustaría venir?

Nosotros estabamos, tan agradecidos con Dios, ya que nuestro Padre Celestial sabía que no teníamos nada de comida preparada para ese día. Nosotros respondimos.

- ¡Claro que si! muchísimas gracias por tu invitación es una respuesta a nuestras oraciones.

Así es que, ese día a la hora acordada fuimos a disfru-tar de una deliciosa comida todos juntos. En nuestro corazón había gratitud y humildad con Dios, quien había nuevamente respondido a nuestras oraciones de una manera en la que solo Él sabe hacerlo, por tanto hoy y siempre sabemos que Dios nos susten-tará.

En la región donde estamos trabajando, la cual es la Huasteca Potosina, hay varias iglesias dispersadas por diferentes municipios. En el municipio donde estamos, como ustedes saben no hay ninguna igle-sia Adventista y estamos realizando obra pionera en este lugar lo cual ha sido una labor muy hermosa. Es muy importante el estar fortalecidos con los hermanos de otras iglesias, ya que nos alenta-mos los unos a los otros, compartiendo nues-tras experiencias de cómo Dios ha interveni-do de diferentes maneras en nuestras vidas al estar compartiendo el mensaje de la palabra. Dios nos dio la oportunidad de visitar este pasado fin de semana una de las iglesias Adventistas más cerca-nas a nosotros, la cual queda a dos horas aproximada-mente de donde se encuentra ubicado el ministerio. La iglesia se llama “Chalco” y es una pequeña iglesia ubicada en el municipio de Axtla de Terrazas, y cuenta con una membresía aproximadamente de 20 miem-bros. Esta iglesia tiene una vista privilegiada ya que se encuentra ubicada en las montañas dentro de uno de los barrios del municipio, el cual tiene una vege-tación selvática hermosa, veredas que se entrelazan en caminos naturales, así como pequeños riachuelos que circundan las calles que se esconden entre los árboles y las casas de los habitantes de la comunidad.

En ese lugar tuvimos la dicha de pasar todo el fin de semana con los hermanos, compartiendo con ellos desde el día viernes hasta el domingo temas acerca de la palabra de Dios, y así mismo tuvimos la opor-tunidad de realizar visitación a hermanos que por diferentes razones ajenas muchas veces a ellos, ya no han podido asistir a la iglesia. Sin embargo Dios nos dio la oportunidad de testificar con aquellos hermanos comentándoles cuan fieles e imperece-deras son las promesas de Dios para con nosotros, así mismo nos dio mucho gusto el habernos retirado de sus hogares dejándolos mucho más animados y tranquilos, claro está, con la promesa de ellos ante Dios, de que harían todo lo posible por seguir en los caminos de Dios y de regresar a su iglesia verdadera.

Hemos podido notar en esta visita cómo es una ale-gría encontrarnos con hermanos de lugares distantes, pero unidospor la causa de Dios. Nos hace recordar los relatos de la biblia, cómo es queiniciaron los apóstoles compartiendo la palabra, ya que iban a los lugaresmás desolados y en ocasiones inaccesiblescon el único fin de compartir el evangelio. Pablo, un misionero por excelencia habló delas ocasiones en las que pasaba por desafíos,ya sea de hambre, escasez, peligros en los caminos, pero gozoso de servir a su Señor. Sin lugar a duda los hermanos que están realizando el trabajo de compartir el evangelio en esta comunidad deben de identificarse con las travesías de pabloy los demás apóstoles en algún momento.

Hemos pensado en algunas maneras de poder cola-borar con esta iglesia que visitamos para fortalecer-nos los unos a los otros creando actividades misione-ras y de ayuda a las comunidades para que la palabra de Dios sea esparcida con mayoralcance, y pedimos sus oraciones por estos planes para que no sean humano si no, que sean losplanes de Dios, también pedimos queen sus oraciones incluyan el orar porlos hermanos de la Iglesia de Chalco, para que Dios supla todas susnecesidades conforme a su voluntad y sobre todo para que la palabra de Dios sea esparcida en esa zona, a las almas que aún no conocen de las verdades bíblicas.

The Refiner ’s FireWe would like to invite you to read this article of the Newsletter in the light of the word of God, leading us through one of the apostles, the verse is in 1st. Peter 1: 7, and reads, “ that the genuineness of your faith,-being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, .” In this verse it is given much more value and impor-tance to faith than gold! What then it is so impor-tant then that Peter wants to get our attention with something as valuable resource making an analogy between both things. Notably it mentioned that gold is perishable (not last forever) contrary to the faith, that can and should last until our Savior returns for the second time to this world to take with him his remnant people, to dwell with Him in the heavenly realms. Then we understand that the process that faith has to happen is that, so and so painful that will be passed by the refiner’s fire, but with the sole pur-pose of our good God to find our faith worthy of prai-se and glory, with the only credit for it to our Creator.

This September has gone really quickly, as we have had, thank God, much much missionary work. God has allowed us the opportunity to start new group Bible study, and starting with the work involved in the Adventist Center of Influence that we commen-ted in the previous article in this Newsletter. In ad-dition to these events, we conduct visitation in se-veral communities, and we teach in different areas all focused in order that they can improve their lives at a general level, physically and spiritually.

Of course, Satan is not happy with the work and progress made by this mission ministry, as we have found several challenges that later we will relate, we remember God’s servant words, “Count your bles-sings, not the trials”, in these challenges we have found great teachings, great blessings, and especially our faith has been tested in the reinfer’s fire, so thank God. We invite you to share with us these stories that certainly are for spiritual strengthening of all.

OPOSITION & REVELATION OF THE TRUTH

Since the beginning of this ministry, in this area, we have had problems with opposition from other religions as it’s expected, we already knew in ad-vance when we began doing pioneering work.

Throughout the area covered by this region, from the beginning we started with the work, teaching and gi-ving Bible studies. More and more people began to be interested in the message that God has through the Adventist Church. People wondered how is it that you are Christians do not speak in tongues (unk-nown)? How is it that the Sabbath is the true day of the Lord? Why you do not drink Coca-Cola? !!! Well without doubt the truth as the word of God always comes out says, and is not a human work that makes people understand these truths it’s completely divine, our only responsibility as Christians, Seventh-day Ad-ventists it is to present the message and the message only and the Holy Spirit will do all the work in them.

Of course by the testimony we will confirm the truths we share, because if we are just hea-rers of the word and not doers, then people will realize that we do not believe in that message.

Thank God, our Heavenly Father has given us the opportunity to give a good testimony, and this has influenced positively the progress of the work, but at the same the opposition has arisen.

Unfortunately, one day someone approached us to tell us some not very pleasant news, but the kind of news one can always hope when you are doing missionary work. What they told us was that one of the religious leaders of the area in charge of one of the most traditional churches in Mexico, was upset with us because we started to make Bi-ble courses for children in one of the communities.

Everything began when in one of the medical bri-gades that we held, a lady approached us to tell us that she would like to invited to us to her hou-se to meet her son, who is a boy with different ca-pacities, in that place we began to give classes with biblical approach and Over time, this boy began in-viting his friends to also attend classes because he likes to share. After several weeks the group of chil-dren increased to reached the number of 20 chil-dren approximately, two days a week for 2 hours we were teaching. God did great miracles in the little ones as they were attending to classes, their love for Christ began to grow and his life began to chan-ge for the better, as they began to learn Bible truths.

After a while, this religious leader began talking to se-veral of the mothers whose children attended classes with us and started talking negative things about the bible truths that we shared with children. He, true to its tradition, was following the rules of his church to appeal to the mind of mothers and thus discourage them, of course without providing a biblical and va-lid reason for such prohibition, he forbade to several of mothers to promote their children going and they were afraid of criticism. Unfortunately it was a sad moment for us that time, but God used that trail in order for our faith to increase, we were trusting that God will soon do something to bring back their little ones to classes. After these talks the religious leader with mothers, we began to have classes with only 3 or 4 children. But we went to classes rejoicing and full of joy of being able to share that time with them. And while we were praying for the little ones missing in clas-ses and also for the religious leader for God to soften his heart and make him understand that all we want is to help the community and to lead them to Jesus.

After several months, the situation seemed not to improve much, but nevertheless we kept faithfully attending classes, things took a positive turn, as we decided during the holiday season to start the first Bible Course Summer Adventist in that community where we teach classes. We had different activities, bible stories, crafts, sports and movies for children. God worked wonderfully allowing the course for about a week, 18 to 22 children attend every day. At the end we had a beautiful meeting with food, along with the parents of the kids and to the surpri-se of us that day we met about 30 people to enjoy a beautiful afternoon. Of course, this event would not be lost to the opposition which revived again, and days later the religious leader called a mee-ting at his church with the mothers who allowed their children to attend Summer Bible Course.Being discourteous and desperate he was really rude wit moms saying hurtful words, for allowing their son’s to take the decision to continue atten-ding classes, saying to them with authoritative voi-ce that he, if so decided could forbid them to go.

The Refiner ’s FireThis was reported to us by some of the mothers who saddened by the attitude of the leader, they never imagined that allowing their little ones attend to classes could be a reason to be offended. We tried to encourage them, commenting that God is the only one who knows our hearts and therefore our true motives and desires, we told them that they had to trust God, and pray for this religious leader, because he needs the love of God to have peace and understand about our ministry and our activi-ties. We kept praying for the mothers asking God to strengthen their hearts, because some of the mo-thers wanted to allow their sons to attend classes. One day after all that, a lady came up to us and said:

- Oh no, Again the leader spoke again about you! - He told me he no longer let my grandchildren go to your classes, because by going they are going to be confused, he said that I should not be around you because I will get confuse, but I do not feel that!

We were surprised at the sincerity of this lady to tell us this, then she continued.

- I am actually really confused when the religious leader speaks to me that way, so rude and so cold-ly, and he keeps telling me I’m going to get confu-se, but the truth is that he is the one who con-fuses me !because he is not showing love at all!

We were grateful to God for having revealed this wo-man light so clearly and recall the biblical promise that God is who delivers our battles and we not de-fend ourselves. Then she continued…

- I do not feel confused when I am with you and when you go to my house to share God’s word, I have told the religious leader that you only are teaching us about the word of God and that you want to help the community.

- So, ¡I already made my decision! And I’ll keep sending my children to go to class with you. And I want you to know that you will always be wel-come at my house to share the word of God.

For us it meant a lot that this lady showed this cou-rage to defend that which gives her peace that is Christ Jesus, well what the scriptures say in John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.

Thank God, things have begun to take its course again, because children have begun to arrive gradua-lly in more number each time, this however is not a human work, because we know our Good Shepherd, Christ Jesus , he is happy to see his little back in class, learning Bible truths and knowing more about Him.

I WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU...

In this month that has passed, thank God we have had the opportunity to create new Bible study groups, and likewise have increased mis-sionary activities in the ministry. Therefore we have been too busy since we are only 3 people at the moment who are full-time as missionaries, God willing we hope this year can receive more missionaries, but for now says the word of God in Eclesiastes 9:10 “. Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with thy might “... We have prayed asking for that promise and we are definitely glad to see how God helps us every day. But so-metimes we don’t have even time to eat! And so it happened this past week, and one day being at the house that will soon work as Center Ad-ventist of Influence fixing some things, we didn’t make time to prepare food, we know the impor-tance of having a good food on time in order to energy to keep working.

That day, besides not having time to prepare food, there was another challenge, and it was that we did not have to much food to prepare, unfortunately God has tested our faith also in that matter, but thanks to him, we always have something to eat.

But unfortunately right now the ministry is experien-cing difficulties due to lack of financial resources, this has been a difficult time, because at some points the situation has been critical. But we have seen the hand of God miraculously providing. Also our Creator gave us a sample of his affection every day, in this time by a woman in the community. The story is this ...

That day we were working on remodeling the house to the Center of Influence, a woman who is our neighbor approached us and told us:

- Hello, how are you? do you have some activity plan-ned for this day at 3:00 pm?

We responded with some intrigue ...

-Not, today only we are going to work here, why?

She said ...

- I just want to make an invitation to you guys, I have I have prepared a meal for you and I’d like to go to my house today to eat together, I have everything ready! Would you like to come?

We were so thankful to God, as our Heavenly Father knew that we had nothing prepared to eat for that day.

We responded.

- Of course! thank you for your invitation is an answer to our prayers.

That day when we enjoy a delicious meal together. In our hearts there was gratitude and humility with God, who had again answered our prayers in a way only He knows, is amazing to see how beautiful are the pro-mises of our Heavenly Father, so now we remember every day that no matter what, God will sustain us.

In the region where we are working, which is a pla-ce called “La Huasteca Potosina”, there are several churches scattered by different municipalities. In the area where we are, as you know there is no Ad-ventist church and we are doing pioneering work in this place which has been a very beautiful work.

It is very important to be strengthened with the brothers from other churches, as we en-courage each other by sharing our experiences of how God has intervened in different ways in our lives to be sharing the message of the word.

God gave us the opportunity to visit this past wee-kend one of the Adventist churches closest to us, which is two hours approximately from where is located the ministry. The church is called “Chalco” and is a small church located in the municipality of Axtla de Terrazas, and has a membership of about 20 members. This church has a privileged view as it is located in the mountains in one of the neighbor-hoods of the town, which has a beautiful jungle ve-getation, paths that intertwine in natural roads and small creeks surrounding streets hide among trees and houses of the inhabitants of the community.

In this place we had the good fortune to spend the whole weekend with brothers, sharing with them from Friday to Sunday topics about the word of God, and likewise had the opportunity to make visitation to brothers who for various reasons often unrelated to them, have not been able to attend church. But God gave us the opportunity to testify with those brothers commenting to how faithful and enduring are the promises of God for everyone. we left their homes and they were sinceer with God, and made a comit-ment before God that they would make every effort to follow God’s ways and return to his true church.

We have noticed on this visit what a joy it is to meet with brothers in fatih fromdistant places, but unitedfor the word of God.Makes usrememberthe stories of the Bible, how is thatthe apostles began sharingthe word, and they were going to placesmost desolate and sometimes inaccessiblewith the sole purpose of sharing the gospel.Paul, a committed missionary spoke aboutthe times when going through challenges,either hunger, shortages, dangers in theroads, yet jofull to serve His Master.No doubt the brothers who aredoing the work of sharing thegospel in this community mustto identify with Pablo’s adventuresand the other apostles at some point.

We’ve spoke with the church leaders of a few ways to collaborate with them to strengthen each other and create missionary activities to help the communities to improve, and ask for we your for your prayers we are asking God todirect these plans, this work is not humanbut divine, this are God’s plans, we also ask that in your prayers include praying for the brothers of the Church of Chalco, so that God will supply all your their needs according toHis will, and especially forthe word of Godcould be spread more and more in this area,to the souls thatare in the darkness.

PEDIDOS ESPECIALES DE ORACIÓN- Hermanos como ustedes saben, seguimos orando para que Dios provea los recursos necesarios para la compra de las tierras que ya han sido encontradas, la fecha límite para el pago completo, es den-tro de un par de meses, pero confiamos en Dios que conforme a su voluntad se hará hecho, el sabe los planes que hay para esa tierra, pero estamos invitandoles a un bando de oración cada día a las 9 pm. No importa donde estés, la oración intercesora puede mucho.

- De igual manera queremos pedir sus oraciones ya que ha medida que se ha ido incrementando el trabajo se requiere mucho más ayuda de misioneros voluntarios, por ahora somos muy pocos, y Dios ha sido bueno guiándonos para cumplir con el trabajo, pero esperamos que muy pronto más personas puedan acudir al llamado para la obra.

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS- As you know, we have been praying for God to provide the resources needed to buy the lands we already found, the final date to pay for that lands is in two months aproximately, but we trust in God that ac-cording to His will He will provide, He knows knows about the plans for that lands. And we are inviting to you to a chain prayer every day at 9 pm, no matter where you are, the intercessory prayer avails much.

- In the same way, we want to ask for your prayers, because due to the increase of the work, we need more misionary volunteers, for now we do not have to many volunteers, but God has been good to us helping us to fulfill the work, but we hope to receive more people that has been called by God to the mission field soon.
