LISTERIOSIS
WHAT IS LISTERIOSIS?
Listeriosis is caused by Listeria monocytogenes infection, a rare zoonosis in humans, but extremely serious.
WHY DOES THIS OCCUR?
Contamination occurs normally during the consumption of foods containing the bacteria responsible for the disease.
Food producing Listeriosis
It can be present in raw milk, cheese made from this milk, raw or undercooked meat, raw vegetables, sausages, pates, fresh or slightly cured cheeses.
SYMPTOMS OF LISTERIOSIS Listeria infections may cause symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrea , dificult breathing and poor feelling.
