Hasta ahora, dent ro del curso de inglés de esta preparator ia , lias estudiado diversas estructuras en los t iempos presente, presente progresivo, pasado y pasado progresivo.
Esta segunda un idad del segundo semestre, te hablará sobre las dos formas del F U T U R O que se emplean en el inglés. Una de ellas re-quiere del uso de un verbo aux i l ia r , nuevo para t í , el auxi l iar W I L L ; la ot ra f o rma del f u t u r o en inglés se cons t ruye con la estructura V E R B O T O BE 4- G O I N G T O , por lo que será conveniente que repases el uso cor rec to de las formas A M , IS y A R E con los dife-rentes sujetos.

As the tu r t l e grows, i t faces fewer dangers. A fu l l -g rown green t u r t l e is so big that on ly a shark w i l l at tack i t . I ly the t ime a green tu r t le is ten years o l d , i t may weigh 500 pounds or more. I I w i l l be able t o swim very s w i f t l y . Green tur t les spend most o f their lives in the water . They l ive i n wa rm, shal low seas all over the wo r l d and swim close to shore on ly at ma t i ng t ime.
Fo l l ow a female green tu r t le as she crawls o n t o a beach. It p robably w i l l be da rk , because most tur t les lay thei r eggs at n ight . T h e tu r t le crawls t o a spot the waves cannot reach; sin; uses her f l ippers to scoop o u t a hole i n the sand, and lays about a hundred eggs in i t . The eggs are. about the size o f go l f balls. They have so f t , leathery shells. A f t e r the mother tu r t le covers the eggs w i t h sand, it w i l l crawl back i n to the sea. A b o u t t w o weeks later, the tu r t l e w i l l come ashore again she-w i l l d ig another hole and lay more eggs. Dur ing the egg-laying season, she w i l l c rawl ashore three to seven l imes and dig a new nest i n the. sand each l ime. T h e n she swims away, bu t no t fo r good. A f t e r t w o or three years she w i l l re tu rn to the same beach and lay more eggs. Scient ists are s tudy ing tur t les to learn how these creatures f i nd thei r way to the same place t ime af ter t ime.
A l t h o u g h green tur t les are good swimmers, they are slow and c lumsy on land. Th is makes them easy to catch. T h e meat and skins o f green tu r t les br ing high prices. The meal is used for f ood and the sk in fo r mak ing belts and purses. Some hunters also gather tu r t le eggs to eat or t o sell.
