Key data are considered to include the economically important environmental aspects of the campsite and the management indicators which have developed negatively (in comparison to development since the year 2010, from which comparable data are available) or for which no data are available. KEY ECONOMIC DATA: USE OF ELECTRICITY AND FUELS WATER USE WASTE KEY MANAGEMENT DATA: USE OF ELECTRICITY USE OF CLEANING PRODUCTS IN SANITARY BLOCKS AND IN THE LAUNDRY. In assessing POTENTIALS ASPECTS (incidents/accidents or emergency situations) the criteria of SEVERITY (consequences of the accident), PROBABILITY (occurrence of an accident) and LEVEL OF OCCURRENCE are used. And in this case, the significance of the impact will depend on the score obtained as a result of the sum of the above criteria. It is considered significant scores equal or lower than "-5".

NOISE: The campsite is very quiet, as befits the environs of a nature park. The site rules aim to ensure respectful coexistence between people. No complaints have been received in this respect over the years. ATMOSPHERIC EMISSIONS: The campsite generates CO2 emissions due to its use of fuels: LPG and fuel oil. The total emissions produced over the year 2015 (electric power + fuels) came to 272,5 tonnes.* IMPROVEMENTS IMPLEMENTED: All the water heaters work at a performance over 89% The solar energy produced represented a saving of 26,2tonnes* of Co2 emissions. The selectively-collected waste contributes with a saving of 178,7 tonnes of Co2. The extensive vegetation on the campsite has the potential to compensate for 11.746 tonnes.

The campsite stands out for its integration into an outstanding setting and for the biodiversity of plant and animal species native to this area. It highlights the important presence of native vegetation and the eradication of non-native. The land area occupied is 2.078 m2 (the area taken up by buildings) on a plot totalling 14,6 Ha. Some of the most important contributions to the environmental management are:
• It avoids to buy any type of plant not adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
• Maintenance to the campground similar to their natural look. • Irregular paths that remain largely unpaved and pitches that are different in sizes and shapes.

The new Self-Protection Plan has been drawn up, complemented by an annex on environmental risk prevention. The following potential risks are considered : fire, flooding due to rain and spills of substances. Preventive technical means are in place. Staff receive regular training and a drill is held every year.
18
As part of the Càmping Laguna management system there is highly exhaustive monitoring and
planning for legal compliance, consisting of an annual checklist with all regulations applicable to the
business and how they affect it, highlighting new rules.
Highlights in the area of legal compliance include the following aspects of the business:
Resolution to award the Environmental Licence dated 7th May 2004 and exemption from regular
checks by municipal decision dated 28th July 2008.
The Càmping Laguna is within the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà nature park and the Catalan
programme of areas of natural interest (PEIN). Decision GOV/254/2010 of 23rd November 2010
finally approved the Special Plan for Protection of the Natural Environment and Landscape of the
Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, as published in the DOGC (Catalan official journal) 5779 of 21/12/2010.
Regular checks on the quality of tap and pool water in accordance with the washing facility
hygiene and legionnaire’s disease self-regulation plans.
Regular checks on the final quality of waste water, to ensure compliance with regulations on public
sanitation services.
Adaptation of emergency plan to the PAU self-protection plan passed by Decree 82/2010 of 29th
June 2010 on self-monitoring plans for civil defence.
Adaptation to compliance with regulations on light pollution, with only street lighting outstanding.
