Adjetivos con Estar

• Remember, with adjectives in Spanish the adjective needs to agree in number and gender with what it is describing.

• -o for masculine• -a for feminine• -os for more than one masculine• -as for more than on feminine

• La chica está lista.• El chico está listo.• Las chicas están listas.• Los chicos están listos.

• Some adjectives can describe masculine and feminine words without having to agree with gender and number.

• Ejemplo: • La chica está feliz. El chico está feliz.• Las chicas están feliz. Los chicos están feliz.

Aburrido/a = bored

Enfermo/a = sick

cansado/a = tired

Feliz, contento/a = happy

Triste = sad

enojado/a = mad

Ocupado/a = busy

sucio/a = dirty

limpio/a = clean

confundido/a = confused

Listo/a = ready

avergonzado/a = embarrassed
