is made with fruit from vineyards over 25 years old.

ZUMAYA wines

are made up of 100% Tinto Fino

(Tempranillo), the outstanding grape variety in this region.

The fruit from 25-50 year old vines is harvested manually

and carefully selected

to produce complex wines full of colour, aroma and ripe fruit.

RIBERA DEL DUERO

The winemaking region of Ribera del Duero, on Spain`s

northern plateau, follows the river Duero and takes advantage

of a unique climate and land combine to produce outstanding wines.

Four of the provinces of the Autonomous Community of Castilla

y León come together in the Ribera del Duero: Burgos, Segovia, Soria

and Valladolid.

Vineyards and grapes

The grapes

from the youngest vineyards are used to make this wine for their capacity to produce

fruity aromas. A film maceration is carried out at 15ºC for a period of 24 hours to obtain the

maximum potential from the primary aromas.

Afterwards, it ferments in stainless-steel tanks between 18ºC and 22ºC for 10 days.

After the fermentation, the wine ages in American oak barrels for around two months.

A dense wine made up of Tempranillo

grapes coming from +25 year-old vines and aged for 12 months in American oak barrels. Bright aromas of red and black fruit paired with lush black cherry flavours create a notable style that is easy to enjoy.

Great pair with meat dishes, barbecue, pasta and cheeses.

Serve at 14-16ºC.
