PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

Present Perfect Tense
We use this tense when we want to talk about unfinished actions that started in the past and continue to the present and to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important.
Grammar
Because the present perfect is a compound tense, two verbs are required: the main verb and the auxiliary verb.
Auxiliary verb will be: Have or Has depends of the subjcet.
Main will be: The action verb in Past Participle
We use present perfect tense when:
• Experience• Change over time• Accomplishments• An Uncompleted Action
You Are Expecting• Multiple Actions at
Different Times
Affirmative:
Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main verb in past participle + Complement.
E.g. He has written a letter to María.
Sentences:
Negative:
Subject + Auxiliary verb + Not + Main verb in past participle + Complement.
E.g. He has not written a letter to María.
Interrogative:
Wh questions + Auxiliary verb + Subject + Main verb in past participle + Complement.
E.g. Why has he written a letter to María?
