Cyclamen Stress-free plant cultivation: 180-Cell TrayTo meet the challenges of today’s production and the

particular needs of cyclamen, Florensis has the perfect

solution, the 180-cell tray. The priority is to minimise stress

in young plant cultivation! The cyclamen for 180-cell trays

are not transplanted into, but sown directly into the tray.

The suficient space between the cells - in comparison with other plug trays - provides ideal conditions for the plants’

development. The results are healthy, robust young cyclamen

plants with well developed roots which are suitable for direct

potting even into larger-diameter pots.

Selected young plants: 84-Cell TrayThe cyclamen seeds are sown in small plugs and transplanted

into the 84-cell tray, as they reach their optimum stage

of readiness. Depending on the variety, this is done 7

to 8 weeks after sowing. The transplanting process is

accompanied by careful selection. Weak plants are sorted

out and discarded. This enables us to achieve very high

uniformity and continuous high standardisation right through

to the lowering product. The use of the more mature young plants from the 84-cell tray also gives you as grower a head

start in cultivation, leading to a quicker turn-around of ready-

for-sale plants.

Optimal eficiency: 288-Cell TrayDirect sown cyclamen are available from Florensis in a 288-

cell tray. Two to one week before delivery, the plugs in the

trays are checked, empty cells are reilled and weak or small plants are sorted out manually. This procedure allows us to

guarantee top quality starting material: the perfect young

plant for eficient cyclamen cultivation!

Goblet

The beautiful chalice-shaped lowers characterise Cyclamen Goblet. Goblet has a remarkable appearance and stands out

in the Cyclamen assortment. The strong weather tolerance

makes this Cyclamen very suitable for the border and pots

on the terrace as well as the balcony. The Shine colours make

The plants of the uniform Super Serie Compact have a dense

habit and a nice round plant shape. The plants are very

loriferous and have a good shelf life. However, the dense plant habit results in a slightly higher chance of botrytis. This

series is therefore less suitable for late production.

Super Serie® Picasso® F1

Being the silver leaved partner of Mini Winter, the Picasso series has the same open plant habit, which makes the plants

less susceptible to botrytis infection at lower temperatures.

Its rich and continuous lowering and unique plant qualities also make Picasso into a very suitable series for sales in the

later segment and for outdoor usage.

Hibiscus moscheutos Luna is both exclusive and impressive.

The plant has an abundance of eye-cathing lowers that measure up to as much as 15 cm in diameter. Luna is a bushy,

well branching Hibiscus that does not require pinching and is suitable for large patio containers. When planted in the

garden, Luna develops into a real eyecatcher. The plants do

love the warmth and tolerate both dry and humid conditions. Reacts strongly to growth regulators.

Sunsation® F1

Helianthus Sunsation has a large lower with a black pollen free centre on a compact plant. Because the lower does not produce pollen the plant is longer sustainable, also in the

retail channel.

Kauai

The Torenia Kauai series is easier to produce in cultures

with a maximum number of plants per m2 as compared to the usual assortment. Kauai has the most attractive colours

for scheduled cultivation. The serie has a tight lowering window of 7 to 9 days. Kauai branches better than other Torenia varieties currently on the market and remains up to 5 cm shorter. This means that the plants can be controlled

better and yield more proit. Because of its bright colours, Kauai is especially suitable for combinations in large pots and

colourful bowls, inside as well as outside.
