EL CONCILIO 5781 DE LOS CABALLEROS DE COLÓN

Tendrá una cede de reclutamiento para nuevos miembros

incluyendo a los del 3°, el 15 de Sep. de 2019 en el salón

parroquial. 1° –registraciones 10:30AM, el grado iniciará a

11 AM / 2°– 1 PM /3°– inmediatamente después del 2°.

El costo será de $10 por cada candidato atendiendo a los

grados. Habrá una comida ligera después del 1° gratis para

los candidatos y una ofrenda voluntaria para el resto. Por

favor tenga a un miembro del 3°que le asistan a cada candi-

dato tomando su grado, los candidatos tienen por lo menos

30 minutos para la titulación estrella. Comuníquese con

Ray Velásquez 353-9100 y dele a saber cuántos candidatos y

miembros atenderán. Candidatos que pudieran integrarse a

los KOC 5781 necesitan ser Caballeros católicos practicantes

y ser mayores de 18 años.

CENA DE PRODUCTOS DE CASA

Nuevamente prepararemos las papas para la Cena de productos de Casa y necesitamos voluntarios para pelar 125 libras de papas el lunes 16 de Sept., a las 6 pm en la cocina del Centro Cívico. También se necesitan volun-tarios el martes 17 de Sept. en la mañana para rebanarlas y prepararlas para cocinarlas. Por favor traiga su propio pela-papas y cuchillo. El comité de la Cena de Productos en Casa también está pidiendo que proveamos tres servidores para la cena, el martes 17 de Sept. en la tarde. STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION In the Gospel today, Jesus warns us not to give in hopes of repayment, but to give open-handedly to the poor and needy. That sort of giving mirrors the bountiful giving of God and Jesus assures us it is blessed indeed!

COUNCIL 5781 OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Will host a program for new members, including all 3

degrees on; September 15th, 2019 at the Parish Hall.

1st Degree– registration 10:30AM, degree begins at

11:00AM / 2nd Degree– 1:00PM, / 3rd Degree– im-

mediately following the 2nd degree. The cost will be $10 for

each candidate attending the degrees. Light lunch after 1st

degree, free for candidates and a free will offering for all oth-

ers. Please have 3rd degree member from you council attend

for each candidate taking the degree and have the candidates

there at least 30 minutes before the start of the degree. Con-

tact Ray Velasquez 620-353-9100 and to let him know how

many candidates and members will be attending. Candidates

who could introduce into the KOC 5781 that day, need to be

a practicing Catholic gentleman and be 18 years or older.

throughout all the year. During this time we will have some precept days as; Dec. 8 (Immaculate Conception)

Dec. 24, (Christmas Eve) Jan. 1st. If you are planning to

participate in the Mass during that time and you are willing to serve please call to the office. Thank you!

HOME PRODUCTS DINNER We will again be preparing potatoes for the Home Products Dinner. Volunteers are needed to peel 125 pounds of potatoes on Monday night, September 16 at 6pm at the kitchen of the Civic Center. Volunteers are also needed on Tuesday morning, September 17, at 10am to slice the potatoes and prepare them for the cooking. Please bring your own potatoes peelers and knives. The Home Products Dinner Committee has asked that we also provide three servers for the Dinner, Tuesday evening, Sept. 17th. Please contact Cindy Borthwick 356-4510, if you can help with this project.
