Descripción del UPM

El UPM (uninterrupted power module) es un

rectificador de 220V AC a -48V DC. Recibe la alimentación de AC en una entrada principal

y la entrega vía backplane a los 2 rectificadores

internos A la salida cuenta con 3 terminales, 2 para conectar la

carga y 1 para conectar a las baterías.

Principales Funciones

Los 2 rectificadores manejan el esquema de carga

compartida, cuando un rectificador falla,

instantáneamente el otro rectificador toma el 100% de la

carga Cada rectificador esta diseñado para soportar 250W, con

un solo rectificador operando es posible alimentar 2

Metro1000 a su máxima capacidad o 4 Metro1000 con una

configuración estándar Los rectificadores son hot plugging, es decir, se puede

reemplazar un rectificador en cualquier momento sin

afectar la operación del otro rectificador.

Principales Funciones

El UPM cuenta con un banco de baterías de respaldo,

cuando la alimentación principal (AC) falla, la carga se

transfiera automáticamente a las baterías sin afectar la

operación de los equipos conectados, el banco de baterías

tienen una capacidad de 12AH y tienen un tiempo de

duración de entre 5 o 6 horas. También se cuenta con un módulo de monitoreo y

comunicación, el cual revisa los parámetros de los

rectificadores, AC y DC power distribution, varios

parámetros y estados del banco de baterías y reporta

todo al sistema de gestión T2000 en tiempo real

By default, the even charging voltage of the storage battery is 58 V and the floating charging voltage is 54.6 V. They are adjustable through NM. The even charging voltage ranges from 57.5 V to 58.3 V and the floating charging voltage ranges from 52.6 V to 56.6 V. The even/floating charging voltage shall be set within the allowable range; otherwise, the battery may be damaged.

The excessive charging current may damage the storage battery, while the over-low charging current takes too long time. The charging current-limiting point of batteries equals the coefficient of charging current-limiting point times the batteries capacity. The storage battery capacity is 12 AH by default, ranging from 0 to 50 AH. The charging coefficient is 0.15. In practice, to meet the requirement for the charging current-limiting point of batteries, you only need to set the battery capacity correctly.

Parámetros configurables desde el NMSQuerying and Setting Status Value The temperature compensation coefficient is to keep the battery from over-

charged and under-charged in conditions of different temperature. The default

value is 80. The coefficient stands for the voltage variation when the

environmental temperature changes one degree. For example, if set it to 80

mV, the output voltage decreases 80 mV when the temperature increase one

degree; if set it to 0, the output voltage is independent of the temperature. This

coefficient ranges from 0 to 500.

Enable protection upon battery power down and the power-down voltage. The

system enables power down by default to avoid the battery is damaged due to

over-charging. However, if you care more about service, you can set it to

disabled. When power down is enabled, you can set the power-down voltage

according to the actual charging current. It can be set from 40 V to 43 V and the

default value is 43 V.

Alarmas del UPM

Manejo de Alarmas

AC/DC over-voltage & under-voltage alarm. The alarm will disappear when the over/under-voltage is restored to normal.

Fuse blown alarm. The alarm can be removed by replacing the fuse with an appropriate one.

Over-temperature alarm. When the environment temperature is over 40°C, the alarm will be given. The alarm can be removed by setting a higher over-temperature alarm threshold in the background.

Power module alarm. Solution: check the AC input first, then check if the two power modules (rectifier modules) are plugged in the slot tightly. If no problems are found, please replace the power module.

Physical board off-line alarm. Solution: The board may be not plugged in or may be plugged loosely, in that case, please plug the board again.

Precauciones durante el mantenimiento

When replacing or observing the storage battery, please switch off the storage battery firstly, make sure to ground it well, and then you can open the box. Take care not to cause metal tools to fall into the board and storage battery area.

The alarms of the power distribution box can be obtained by checking the alarms of the SCC.

Open the box once every month regularly, and observe the state of the storage battery. Please replace the storage battery immediately under one of the following circumstances:

a. Liquid leakage of the storage battery b. Test each storage battery with multimeter to find that the voltage is

under 12V or above 14V.

Precauciones durante el mantenimiento

Please follow the steps below to replace the storage battery: a. Turn off the switch on the panel at the back, and remove the

connection cable between the storage battery and the GIE4805/2A/500. b. Screw off the four screws on the panel at the back, take out the panel,

and place it on the battery box, as shown in Figure 16. c. Then screw off the 6 screws of the baffle in the storage battery box,

and then take out the baffle. d. Pull out the connection cable of the storage battery, and take out the

storage battery carefully. e. Install the storage battery in reverse sequence as above.

The storage battery is very heavy, so please take care during its transportation. Never place the storage battery in a high position, and make sure to fix it tightly.
