Esta colección con-tiene muestras algales representativas deprestigiosas Instituciones a nivel mundialcomo: Herbarium of The New York Botani-cal Garden, Herb. Univ. Coll. Auckland,Mus. Bot. Stockholm, Herb. Algol.

E. Pease, G. A. Hall y C. Messina.

– Durant, C. F. (1805-1873).

– Gardner, N. L. (1864-1937). The Regents of The University ofCalifornia, 2011).

– Hervey, A. B. (1839-1931). AlpheusBaker, clérigo y educador además de ficólo-go amateur, nació en Triangle, New York,EUA. A finales del siglo XIX publicó el libroSea Mosses: A Collector’s Guide and an Intro-duction to the Study of Marine Algae (Presi-dent and Fellows of Harvard College, 2010).En 1917 dio a conocer The Algae of Bermu-da, primera flora de las Islas formada porcinco fascículos que integraron parte de laPhycotheca Boreali-Americana (Schneider,2014).

– Holden, I. (1832-1903).

The New York Botanical Garden.
