Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord

March 25, 2018 [Christ Jesus] humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point

of death, even death on a cross. Philippians 2:8

Dear Parishioners,

We have journeyed through Lent, and our spiritual pilgrimage has brought us to the

one who will lead us to the fulfillment of our hopes. Together, we now enter into the

holiest of days as we begin Holy Week.

We invite you to celebrate the Gift of the Resurrected Christ and welcome those who

will receive the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil.

The Triduum, beginning with Mass on Holy Thursday and continuing with the Easter

Liturgies, is the center of our Catholic faith and practice. Come, join us as we offer

our prayer of praise to the Risen Lord!

May the peace and joy of Easter fill your hearts with gladness and the promise of

eternal life to your loved ones.

We are often asked to provide affidavits for baptism and confirmation sponsors. We can only do this if a person is a registered, active, and contributing member in our parish.

Talk to children about all types of strangers

Most children know something about stranger danger, but do they know about friendly strangers? Many predators will use tricks to lure young victims such as asking for help walking a dog, offering candy, or pretending to know their parents. No matter how friendly someone may be, children should know that if they don’t know the person, they should never go anywhere with them. Give kids simple rules: it’s okay to run away from someone you don’t know, and to shout “no!” or “go away!” if a stranger is talking to you or asking you to go anywhere.

perro, ofrecer dulces o pretender conocer a
