De Joaquín Sorolla a Francis Bacon, de Houdini a los superhéroes más famosos, de la metapintura que reflexiona sobre los orígenes de la actividad artística hasta el cine transgresor de Bruce Conner. El primer cuatrimestre del año viene repleto de interesantes exposiciones, algunas de ellas en torno a Carlos III, el rey ilustrado, del que se conmemora el tercer centenario de su nacimiento. Museos y salas de arte comparten protagonismo con una de las citas culturales más importantes del calendario: ARCOmadrid (22-26 de febrero), la gran Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo.

From Joaquín Sorolla to Francis Bacon, from Houdini to the most famous super-heroes, from meta-painting that reflects on the origins of artistic practice to the transgressive filmmaking of Bruce Conner. The first four months of the year come packed with interesting exhibitions, some on Charles III, the Enlightened King, as part of events marking the third centenary of his birth. Museums and art venues share the limelight with one of the most important cultural dates on the calendar, none other than ARCOmadrid (22-26 February), the great International Contemporary Art Fair.
