La manifestación de la unidad de consciencia traída por el noveno nivel va a requerir unaintención de parte de los seres humanos para co-crear esto.

La Convergencia de Conciencia, del 17-18 de Julio, 2010, es para los que están dispuestos afijar la intención de crear la unidad de consciencia en la novena onda del sistema delcalendario maya.

¡Creando la intención para la unidad de consciencia de la Novena Onda del calendario Maya!En años recientes ha habido un aumento radical en el interés del calendario Maya y especialmente sufinal y muchos preguntan que es lo que nos dice esto acerca del futuro. Sorprendentemente, muchasgentes hacen esta pregunta como si la respuesta no tiene nada que ver con ellos o con las eleccionesque hacen. Pocos parecen haber considerado que el cumplimiento del plan cósmico va a requerir queellos tomen la responsabilidad del papel de co-creadores con este plan divino. Esto no quiere decirque los seres humanos pueden crear cualquier cosa que quieran en cualquier momento. Las ondas deconsciencia traídas por el calendario Maya todavía definen el marco de nuestra existencia y lo quepodemos o tal vez no podemos crear en una era dada. Sin embargo, solo la creatividad que esconsistente con una onda nueva será favorecida y esto otra vez será evidente a medida que entramosa la novena y más alta de las ondas del sistema del calendario Maya. Es por lo tanto pertinente elpreguntar que conciencia va a crear la novena onda y que es lo que requerirá de nosotros para podertomar la responsabilidad de convertirnos en co-creadores con esta onda. Para lidiar con esto necesitamos consultar a los Maya antiguos y estudiar a su única inscripción quedescribe el significado del final del calendario, el Monumento 6 de Tortuguero. Este dice que en esemomento del tiempo la entidad de nueve peldaños, Bolón Yookte, (Fig. 1) “descenderá.”* Lo que estosignifica en un lenguaje más directo es que la combinación de las nueve fuerzas cósmicas, nuevemovimientos de onda, se manifestarán por completo simultáneamente. Por lo tanto en esta formaMaya de ver el significado del final del calendario no hay nada que hable de un final del mundo. Envez, a lo que el final del sistema del calendario se refiere es a la finalización o el cumplimiento, deprocesos evolucionarios que han estado pasando desde el principio del tiempo y han guiado al mundoa llegar a lo que es hoy en día. Estas nueve fuerzas cósmicas so las nueve progresiones evolucionarias (Inframundos), cada una através de trece energías que es de lo que está compuesto el sistema profético del calendario Maya, unsistema, en el cual los eventos significantes en la evolución biológica e histórica están extremadamentebien correlacionados. Las progresiones diferentes de cada una desarrollan un cuadro de concienciadiferente y actualmente estamos muy fuertemente influenciados por la octava onda. Es sin embargo

la novena y la más alta de estos movimientos de onda la que traerá el cambio final a la unidad deconsciencia que culminará a medida que el calendario llega al final. Creo que es imperativo el darsecuenta que éstas nueve fuerzas cósmicas no están actuando separadamente de los seres humanos, sinno que a través de su influencia con nosotros y que por lo tanto solo se manifestarán en la medida enque los humanos se alineen con éstas. También creo que necesitamos considerar que la co-creación deeste nivel más alto requiere que en verdad estemos comprometidos a su propósito. Es en lapreparación de esta un poco misteriosa novena onda que estoy animando a la celebración de laConvergencia Conciente, el 17-18 de Julio, 2010, como un punto para enfocarse en alinearse con laonda más alta y decisiva del sistema del calendario Maya, la novena onda. Mucha gente tiene un sentido intuitivo que el final del calendario Maya traerá un cambio en laconciencia. Sin embargo, esto raramente está afirmado con claridad o se ha explicado exactamentecuál es la fuente de tal cambio, como va a aparecer o cual es su naturaleza. Sin embargo, tal vez de lamanera en que cambian en la conciencia son actualmente un poquito menos misteriosos de lo que lagente tiende a creer. De hecho, los cambios de conciencia han venido sucediendo desde el principio deltiempo y continuarán sucediendo en cualquier momento en que haya un cambio de energíasignificante en el calendario Maya – tal como esos de entre cualquiera de sus días y sus noches.

A pesar de todos esos previos cambios en la historia cósmica yo creo sin embargo que hay algo muyespecial y significante con la nueva conciencia que pueda esperarse a ser generado por la novenaonda. Para empezar, al parecer está diseñada para traer un cambio a la unidad de la consciencia endonde la mente humana ya no estará dominada por un filtro oscuro (véase Fig. 2). En otras palabrasvamos a hacernos “transparentes” y creo que esta es la conciencia particular – ver la realidad de lamanera que es sin separación – lo que tantos están esperando. No solo cualquier consciencia, sino laque va más allá de las dualidades del pasado y ayuda a los seres humanos a ver la unidad de todas lascosas. La razón que este tipo de unidad de conciencia puede ser beneficiaria al planeta, y a lahumanidad, es que por que lleva a la transcendencia de toda separación (entre el hombre y la mujer,el hombre y la naturaleza, el que es gobernado y el que gobierna, el este y el oeste, etc.) Creo que sinla manifestación de tal cambio en conciencia el mundo va tarde o temprano a terminar. Las gentescon consciencias dualistas y separatistas son parecidas a las células del cáncer en el cuerpo de laTierra con poquito respeto a su todo más grande y eventualmente generarán un derrumbe de suecosistema. Solo un cambio a la unidad de consciencia va a parar para siempre la explotación sincontrol de la Tierra y a un nivel más profundo nos hará comprender que somos parte de la creacióny necesitamos vivir en armonía con ésta. ¿Pero sucederá tal cambio así automáticamente?

Tal como se mencionó arriba los cambios de conciencia global tienen su origen en la resonancia conlas fuerzas cósmicas descritas por el calendario Maya. Por lo tanto, aunque algunos podrían haberexperimentado temporalmente estados alterados de conciencia, es tan solo así como un cambio esinducido de acuerdo con el plan cósmico, es así como podríamos comprender esto del calendarioMaya, que está aquí para quedarse. Por lo tanto, solo con la novena onda podría un cambio a launidad de conciencia ser considerado como algo al que le ha llegado su tiempo. Esta es la onda que vaa terminar todo lo de las evoluciones previas de la humanidad y va a construir el puente que nospermitirá entrar al nuevo mundo que va a seguir después del final del calendario. Por el otro lado el estudiante del calendario Maya sabrá que para que se manifieste un cambioconciente los seres humanos deben estar en resonancia con éste y en un momento por lo menos en elsubconsciente haber hecho un elección para alinearse con éste. Por lo tanto, un cambio de concienciaen gran escala no es algo que sucede en contra de la voluntad de los seres humanos. Especialmenteen los niveles más altos de evolución, tal como el noveno, este solo puede suceder a través de sereshumanos que elijen servir como co-creadores. Desafortunadamente muchos han sido llevados acreer que hay un tipo de efecto físico que se deba esperar, tal como el cambio del polos, Nibiru,erupción solar, o un alineamiento galáctico, resultando en una actitud pasiva que ha hecho que elcalendario Maya parezca que le quita poderes y a los eventos como estando fuera de su poder para

poderlos influenciar. Creo, sin embargo, que así como dicen los Hopi, “nosotros somos a los quehemos estado esperando.” Si hacemos el compromiso de hacerlo para que podamos co-crear unidadde consciencia con la novena onda. Así como mucho de los lectores de este articulo lo pueden haber experimentado hay prácticasespirituales, técnicas de sanación y métodos para desarrollo personal que de por hecho causancambios temporales en la conciencia y la experiencia de unidad de todas las cosas. Sin embargo, loque parece que hace falta para que tal transformación juegue un papel positivo en una escala mayores el compromiso de una masa crítica de gente para crear un mundo basado en tal unidad deconciencia. La idea detrás de la Convergencia de Conciencia, 17-18 de Julio, 2010, es por lo tanto elcrear una intención poderosa para hacerlo. Hay de por cierto una cosa que siempre está dentro denuestro poder para hacer – y en el poder de todos los seres humanos para que lo hagan – y esto es elintentar crear y manifestar unidad de conciencia. Así como el estudiante de la ley de la atracciónsabrá, toda manifestación empieza con una intención y sin una intención no hay resultado.

La Convergencia de Conciencia – Una Onda de Unidad es por lo tanto para todos esos que intentanmanifestar la unidad de conciencia. (Podría ser importante el señalar que no es acerca de tener laintención de un cambio de conciencia, sino de unidad de conciencia). Es para los que auténticamentedirán: “Yo tengo la intención de manifestar la unidad de conciencia.) Cualquiera que sea en lo quecrea, cualquiera que sea la opinión que tenga acerca del mundo, está todavía en su poder el tener laintención de tal cambio para ustedes mismos y los otros. Las fechas propuestas son propicias parafijar la intención de hacerlo por que este lleva a la manifestación de la unidad de conciencia durantela novena onda en alineamiento con el plan cósmico. Sin tal atención generalizada es dudoso de quevaya haber un cambio en este planeta ya sea individualmente o colectivamente. Basada en la creación de tal intención en la Convergencia de Conciencia parece natural que la gentetambién va a querer hacer ceremonias y participar en prácticas espirituales que son manifestacionesde tal unidad de conciencia y a buscan cualquier manera posible para hacer que estos resultados seanpermanentes. De hecho la Convergencia de Conciencia se debería ver así como el principio de unproceso para profundizar una unidad de conciencia que nunca para. Este es el tipo de compromisoque yo creo que será requerido. Para esos que quieren cumplir el plan cósmico, la Convergencia deConciencia debería ser un punto de entrada para co-crear la novena onda y algo que nuncaqueramos dejar de hacer. El empezar a seguir el calendario Maya diariamente desde este puntodentro del cuadro proveído por la novena Onda podría en hecho ser en si mismo un factor significantepara desarrollar la unidad de conciencia. Solo con plazo de tope se hacen reales los proyectos y elcalendario nos provee con un cuadro de tiempo dentro del cual esto se puede realizar. Parece importante que las manifestaciones conectadas a la Convergencia de Conciencia seanplaneadas muy cuidadosamente y que expresen esta nueva unidad de conciencia así que estas no sonlas expresiones del viejo mundo en el que hemos estado viviendo aplicadas con ligereza. Si porejemplo, las funciones artísticas son parte de la celebración, seria sabio tomar en cuenta si estasestán aumentando la experiencia de unidad del todo o si están crean una experiencia de separaciónentre los artistas y la audiencia. Lo mismo se podría aplicar a la celebración de ceremonias si eldirigente no los está incluyendo verdaderamente. Un buen ejemplo de ceremonia que es unaexpresión de unidad de conciencia en mi mente es cuando Jack Sully en Avatar es llevado comomiembro a la gente de Pandora. Además, si para la generación de unidad de conciencia las prácticasespirituales valiosas son usadas podría ser considerado irrelevante si se excluye o no el adorar a los

fundadores o gurús. Tal vez las prácticas comunes silenciosas y discretas son de por si las manifestaciones más poderosasde la unidad de conciencia, pero sea lo que sea es importante que los participantes hagan lo que digany que no re-creen estructuras dominantes. Como se hace esto es algo para que los organizadoreslocales lo decidan y aquí solo se enfatiza la importancia de abordar este tema con ojos frescos y deprestarle mucha atención a los detalles. El nombre de Convergencia Conciente alude a la Convergencia Armónica, una reunión que abrió lasmentes el 17-18 de Agosto, 1987 (1 Imix y 2 Ik) así que es importante el señalar la relación entre lasdos y el porqué después de tantos años hay una segunda, el 17 – 18 de Julio, 2010, (13 Eb y 1 Ben).**Lo importante que hay en común entre las dos Convergencias es que ambas están (esencialmente)puestas en el tiempo de un doblamiento del movimiento de la 8va y 9na. Onda del calendario Maya ypor lo tanto reflejan los cambios de energía que anuncian las transformaciones respectivas de laconciencia que trajeron a estas ondas. Dicho de otra manera: Lo que la Convergencia Armónicasignificó para el salto cuántico a la octava onda lo significará la Convergencia de Conciencia para elsalto cuántico a la novena onda. *** (Por lo tanto, se podría comprender como una 2da ConvergenciaArmónica). O, si incluyéramos a la séptima onda y su pre-onda (véase Fig. 3) como comparación,podríamos ver lo que significa para la preparación a la nueva onda lo que el Renacimiento Europeosignificó para el salto cuántico al mundo moderno del industrialismo. Lo que es diferente ahora, y unreto para la Convergencia de Conciencia, es que este peldaño no puede decirse que sea para el interésde los individuos separados si no que es para toda la humanidad.

De estos paralelos (Fig. 3) podemos ver que la Convergencia de Conciencia no es en sí elprincipio de la novena onda, que no empieza hasta el 29 de marzo, 2011.**** En vez éstacelebración inicia una onda, la pre-onda, que precede y pavimenta el piso para la novenaonda y la lleva directamente hacia ésta. La Convergencia de Conciencia es por lo tantotremendamente importante como un punto para crear la intención de unidad de concienciano importa que éste se desarrollara completamente más tarde con la novena onda. Tal vezserá de por hecho la última oportunidad que para fijar tal intención, que casi con necesidaddebe existir en un punto temprano si es que nos tenemos que elevar a nosotros mismos másarriba del caos económico que podemos esperar en los años por venir. En mi propio puntode vista la esperanza para el futuro yace exactamente en el aprender a surfear en estanovena onda y así transcender, en vez de que nos atrapemos en, todas las dualidades yconflictos de los Inframundos más bajos. Si esto es así también se debe esperar que laConvergencia de Conciencia se enfrentará con mucha resistencia de todas esas fuerzas queestán defendiendo a la operación basada en el ego del viejo mundo y de las jerarquíasmasivas que ésta ha generado. Un pequeño ejemplo de esto es que ha surgido una industriade la media comercial alrededor del “2012” en donde es especulado acerca de lo que va apasar como si esto fuera independiente de las intenciones y la dirección creativa que lagente elije. Naturalmente también nos vamos a enfrentar con nuestro propio cinicismo yapatía hacia el estado del mundo y los pensamientos regresarán a nosotros como: “esto noes posible,” “el mundo no va a cambiar,” etc., y es por esta razón que se necesita uncompromiso muy fuerte.

La Convergencia de Conciencia está supuesta a ser un evento muy inclusivo que puede serabrazado por todo el mundo que tiene intención de que surja la unidad de conciencia noimporta cuáles sean sus puntos de vistas acerca del calendario maya o de cualquier otro.Es acerca del usar una ventana de oportunidad positiva y constructivamente y así que laparticipación en esto solo requiere un entendimiento del cambio de conciencia a salir delproceso evolucionario del que somos parte en la actualidad. Así que, un cambo de unidadde conciencia no es algo que simplemente nos cae encima del cielo en una fecha futura, sinoque solo puede salir del proceso evolucionario del que somos parte en la actualidad. Es unprincipio básico de la ley de la atracción que la providencia solo se mueve cuando ustedestá comprometido y hasta este momento el compromiso para una transición a la unidad deconciencia no ha surgido en gran escala o ni siquiera ha sido previamente propuesto. Para que este evento tenga éxito generando la intención para el cambio de conciencia de lanovena onda una participación masiva en este también sería deseable en sus etapaspreparatorias. Los esfuerzos preparatorios deben ser compartidos por los millones queintentan un cambio de conciencia para que éste suceda. Para poder atraerla será necesarioun esfuerzo colectivo y el ya haber elegido en participar es parte de crear la intención quese ha estado discutiendo aquí. Al principio, habrá una gran necesidad de que la gente tomeiniciativas para diseminar el llamado para la Convergencia de Conciencia por todo elmundo. Es importante el acercarse a las organizaciones para que estas lo adopten. Luegohabrá necesidad de que la gente haga que su contribución única sea reconocida por mediode sitios web públicos, de la media social y de otras redes de comunicación. Tambiénexistirá la necesidad de financiar muchos aspectos de las actividades y a los trabajadores, loque se puede hacer por medio de: www.CommonPassion.org, una corporación 501c3 debeneficio público sin fines de lucro. Luego, habrá una necesidad para planeación creativade eventos y la creación de una red de comunicación entre estos. Los individuos y lasorganizaciones que deseen participar en este programa global están invitados a unirse a ladiscusión de los detalles de la intención compartida y para conectarse con otros alrededordel mundo que estarán co-creando ésta onda intencional de unidad de conciencia. Un forode discusión ya se ha iniciado en:http://forum.commonpassion.org/viewforum.php?id=50.Mi propio punto de vista es que ésta es la última oportunidad que los seres humanos van atener para que verdaderamente se alineen ellos mismos con el plan cósmico. Es ahora onunca y si no cree que la Convergencia de Conciencia tiene que ver con usted,probablemente no ha estudiado el calendario maya de una manera suficientemente seria.Por lo tanto, no podrá haber representantes para su participación en la transformación delmundo a medida que el calendario llega a su final. El descenso final de Bolón Yookte, lasNueve Ondas (los Nueve Señores del Tiempo o los Nueve Inframundos, o cualquier nombreque prefiera) esta por caernos encima y no es sin razón el por que el número nueve essagrado en tantas tradiciones espirituales. El dió su primera charla con la mención del final del calendario maya en 1979 y es el únicocientífico profesional que ha estudiado el significado del calendario Maya (muchosMayanistas profesionales han estudiado el calendario como tal, pero no su realidad basadaen la evolución biológica e histórica). ** La Convergencia de Conciencia no está basada en los días del tzolkin, sino en laaceleración fractal del tiempo de las nueve ondas. Sin embargo, deberíamos ponerleatención al día tzolkin del evento. Por lo tanto, el 17 de Julio, 2010 es 13 Eb, uno de los másmisteriosos signos del día que es traducido típicamente como El Camino o la Grama y,como está vinculado con el número 13, ese día es muy típico del signo del día Eb. *** Esta no es la Convergencia Armónica que fué originalmente comprendida por TonyShearer y José Argüelles. Shearer, un Nativo Americano, quien fué el primero que propusolas fechas, vió la Convergencia Armónica como el punto final de los Trece Cielosempezando en el A.D. 843 y los Nueve Infiernos (períodos de 52 años) que habían seguido lallegada de Hernán Cortez en Veracruz en 1519 y Argüelles promovió ésta intriga en elMayan Factor (el Factor Maya). Mientras que esto pudo haber servido como una profecíaguiadora que intuitivamente llevo a la identificación de las fechas de la ConvergenciaArmónica como el 16-17 de Agosto, 1987 (1 Lagarto y 2 Viento), en mi opinión casi no sirvede comprendimiento teorético del porqué estas fechas eran en actualidad energéticamenteimportantes. Así que la Convergencia Armónica fué definida más como mito que comociencia, pues el conocimiento del calendario Maya basado en la realidad casi no existía.

Sabemos por las fuentes maya que el 13+9 no es considerado como una secuencia linear,sino que cada uno de los Nueve Inframundos estaba compuesto de Trece Cielos (Así, que deacuerdo con los libros Maya Books of Chilam Balam –Libros de Chilam Balam “los nueveseñores del tiempo (Bolon-ti-ku) tomaron a los trece señores del tiempo (Oxlahun-ti-ku)”asique la creación tiene una estructura de pirámide integral en vez de linear. Ya sea que lagene esté conciente de ésto o no, la evolución entera del cosmos desde el Big Bang (la GranExplosión) también ha sido bien meticulosamente mapeada debido al calendario Maya yverificada por una evidencia empírica masiva. **** Probablemente yo debo haber contribuido en sí a la confusión que existe en cuanto ala fecha del comienzo del Movimiento de la onda Universal y he dado tiempos diferentespara esto. Lo que sabemos es que el calendario se desarrolla de acuerdo a los nuevemovimientos de onda, en donde el más largo regresa hasta el nacimiento del universo, ytodas estas son diferentes entre sí por un factor de veinte. De acuerdo a tal punto de vistafractal del calendario Maya del sistema profético la novena onda seria entonces solo de 234días constituida por 13 períodos de uaxaclahunkin (18 días) diferentes. According to the ancient Maya the creation of the universe is effected by nine waves.

We are now approaching the end of the eighth wave and, on top of this, the activation ofthe ninth and highest level that will cap off the evolution of the universe.

This ninth level of the universe is designed to generate unity consciousness.

The manifestation of the unity consciousness brought by the ninth level will require anintention on the part of the human beings to co-create this.

The Conscious Convergence, July 17-18, 2010, is for those that are willing to set theintention to create unity consciousness in the ninth wave of the Mayan calendar system.

Creating the intention for the unity consciousnessof the Ninth Wave of the Mayan calendar!In recent years there has been a radically increased interest in the Mayan calendar and especiallyits end and so many ask what this tells us about the future. Surprisingly, many people ask thisquestion as if the answer had nothing to do with themselves or the choices they make. Few seemto have considered that the fulfillment of the cosmic plan will require of them to step up to therole of co-creators with this divine plan. This is not to say that human beings can just createanything they want at any point in time. The waves of consciousness brought by the Mayancalendar still defines the framework of our existence and what we may or may not be able tocreate in any given era. Yet, only the creativity that is consistent with a new wave will be favoredand this will again be evident as we enter the ninth, and highest, wave of the Mayan calendarsystem. It is thus pertinent to ask what consciousness the ninth wave will create and what it willrequire of us to be able to step up to becoming co-creators with this wave.To address this we need to consult the ancient Maya and look at their only inscription, whichdescribes the meaning of the end of their calendar, the Tortuguero Monument 6. This says that atthat point in time the nine-step entity, Bolon Yookte, (Fig 1) will “descend.”* What this means ina more straight language is that a combination of nine cosmic forces, nine wave movements, willsimultaneously manifest fully. In this ancient Mayan way of looking at the meaning of the end ofthe calendar there is thus nothing that speaks of an end to the world. Rather, what the end ofthe calendar system is all about is a completion, or fulfillment, of evolutionary processes thathave been going on from the beginning of time and led the world to what it is today.These nine cosmic forces are the nine evolutionary progressions (Underworlds), each throughthirteen energies that the prophetic Mayan calendar system is made up from, a system, whichsignificant events in biological and historical evolution correlate extremely well with. Thedifferent progressions each develop a different frame of consciousness and currently we are moststrongly influenced by the eighth wave. It is however the ninth and highest of these wave

movements that will bring about the final shift to unity consciousness that will culminate as thecalendar comes to an end. I feel it is imperative to realize that these nine cosmic forces are notacting separately from the human beings, but through their influence on us and so they will onlymanifest inasmuch as the humans align with them. I feel we also need to consider that the co-creation of this highest level requires that we are truly committed to its purpose. It is inpreparation of this somewhat mysterious ninth wave that I am encouraging the celebration of theConscious Convergence, July 17-18, 2010, as a point to focus on aligning with the highest anddecisive wave of the Mayan calendar system, the ninth wave.Many people have an intuitive sense that the end of the Mayan calendar will bring a shift inconsciousness. Yet, it is rarely clearly stated or explained exactly what is the source of such ashift, how it will happen or what would be its nature. Maybe however shifts in consciousness areactually a little less mysterious than many people tend to believe. In fact, shifts in consciousnesshave been happening from the beginning of time and continue to happen whenever there is asignificant energy shift in the Mayan calendar, such as between any of its days and nights.

the human mind no longer will be dominated by any dark filter (see Fig 2). We will in otherwords become “transparent” and I believe this is the particular consciousness – seeing reality theway it is with no separation - that so many are waiting for. Not just any consciousness, but onethat transcends the dualities of the past and aids the human beings to see the unity of all things.The reason that this kind of unity consciousness can be beneficial to the planet, and to mankind,is that it is one that leads to the transcendence of all separation (between man and woman, manand nature, ruler and ruled, east and west, etc). I feel that without the manifestation of such ashift in consciousness the world will sooner or later come to an end. People with a dualist andseparating consciousness are somewhat like cancer cells in the body of the Earth with littleregard to its larger whole and would eventually generate a collapse of its ecosystem. Only a shiftto unity consciousness will forever stop the unchecked exploitation of the Earth and on a deeperlevel make us understand that we are part of creation and need to live in harmony with it. Butwill such a shift just happen automatically?

Hence, even though some may temporarily haveexperienced altered states of consciousness it is only in as much as a shift is induced inaccordance with the cosmic plan, as we may understand this from the Mayan calendar, that itwill be here to stay. Thus, only with the ninth wave may a shift to unity consciousness beregarded as something whose time has truly come. This is the wave that will cap off all of theprevious evolution of mankind and build the bridge that will allow us to enter the new world thatwill follow upon the end of the calendar.

On the other hand the student of the Mayan calendar will know that in order for a consciousnessshift to manifest the human beings must be in resonance with it and at some point at leastsubconsciously have made a choice to align with. Hence, a large-scale consciousness shift is notsomething that can happen against the will of the human beings. Especially at the highest levelsof evolution, such as the ninth, it can only happen through human beings that choose to serve asco-creators. Unfortunately many have been led to believe that there is some physical event towait for, such as a pole shift, Nibiru, sun flares, or a galactic alignment, resulting in a passiveattitude that has made the Mayan calendar seem disempowering and events as being outside oftheir power to influence. I believe however that, as the Hopi are saying, “we are the ones that wehave been waiting for.” If we make the commitment to do so we can co-create unityconsciousness with the ninth wave.As many readers of this article may have experienced there are spiritual practices, healingtechniques and methods for personal development that in fact do cause temporary shifts inconsciousness and the experience of unity of all things. Yet, what seems to be missing for suchtransformations to play a positive role on a larger scale is the commitment of a critical mass ofpeople to create a world based on such unity consciousness. The idea behind the ConsciousConvergence, July 17-18, 2010, is thus to create a powerful intention to do so. There is in factone thing that is always in our power to do – and in the power of all human beings to do - andthis is to intend to create and manifest unity consciousness. As the student of the law of attractionwill know, all manifestation begins with an intention and without an intention there is no result.The Conscious Convergence – A Wave of Unity is thus for all those who intend to manifestunity consciousness. (It may be important to point out that it is not about intending any shift ofconsciousness, but one to unity consciousness). It is for those who authentically will say: “Iintend to manifest unity consciousness.” Whatever you believe in, whatever worldview you have,it is still in your power to intend such a shift for yourself and others. The proposed dates aretimely for setting the intention to do so in that it leads up to a manifestation of unityconsciousness during the ninth wave in alignment with the cosmic plan. Without such awidespread intention it is doubtful whether there will ever be such a shift on this planet eitherindividually or collectively.Based on the creation of such an intention in the Conscious Convergence it seems natural thatpeople will also want to perform ceremonies and participate in spiritual practices that aremanifestations of such a unity consciousness and seek whatever ways are possible to makepermanent its results. In fact the Conscious Convergence should be looked upon as thebeginning of a process toward deepened unity consciousness that never stops. This is thekind of commitment that I believe will be required. For those desiring to fulfill the cosmic plan,the Conscious Convergence should be an entry point to co-creating the ninth wave andsomething we should never want to drop out of. To start following the Mayan calendar on a dailybasis from this point within the framework provided by the Ninth wave may in fact by itself be asignificant factor for developing unity consciousness. Only with deadlines do projects becomereal and the calendar provides us with a time frame within which this is to be accomplished.It seems important that manifestations linked to the Conscious Convergence are planned verycarefully and express this new unity consciousness so that they are not just thoughtlessly appliedexpressions of the old world we have been living in. If, for instance, artistic performances arepart of the celebration, it seems wise to consider whether these are enhancing the experience ofunity of all or if they create an experience of separation between the artists and the audience. The

same may apply to the performance of ceremonies if the leader is not truly inclusive. A goodexample of a ceremony that is an expression of unity consciousness is in my mind when JackSully in Avatar is taken up as a member of the people of Pandora. Furthermore, if for thegeneration of unity consciousness valuable spiritual practices are used it may be consideredwhether irrelevant worship of founders or gurus can be excluded. Maybe silent and low keycommon practices are in fact the most powerful manifestations of unity consciousness, butregardless it is important that participants walk their talk and do not recreate dominancestructures. How to do this would be for local organizers to decide and here it is only emphasizedthe importance of approaching this issue with fresh eyes and much attention paid to details.The name Conscious Convergence alludes to the Harmonic Convergence, a mind-openinggathering on August 17-18, 1987 (1 Imix and 2 Ik) and so it is important to point out therelationship between the two and why after so many years there is a second one, July 17-18,2010 (13 Eb and 1 Ben)**. The important commonality between the two Convergences is thatthey both are (essentially) placed in time at a doubling of the 8th and 9th wave movements of theMayan calendar and hence reflect energy shifts that herald the respective transformations ofconsciousness brought by these waves. Put in other terms: What the Harmonic Convergencemeant to the quantum jump to the eighth wave the Conscious Convergence will mean tothe quantum jump to the ninth wave.*** (Hence, it can be understood as a 2nd HarmonicConvergence). Or, if we include the seventh wave and its pre-wave (see Fig 3) for comparison,we may see that it will mean to the preparation for the ninth wave what the EuropeanRenaissance meant to the quantum jump to the modern world of industrialism. What is differentnow, and a challenge for the Conscious Convergence, is that this step cannot be said to be in theinterest of separate individuals, but rather of all of humanity.

Examples of how the visions at the beginning of the pre-wave prepares for the full waveconsider how the many inventions (on paper) by Leonardo da Vinci around 1498 presaged thereal industrial inventions of the 7th wave or how the Harmonic Convergence presaged the muchincreased interest in the Mayan calendar in the 8th wave. From these parallels (Fig 3) we may see that the Conscious Convergence is not by itself thebeginning of the ninth wave, which does not start until Mar 9, 2011.**** Rather this celebrationinitiates a wave, a pre-wave, that precedes and paves the ground for the ninth wave anddirectly leads into it. The Conscious Convergence is thus tremendously important as a point forcreating the intention of unity consciousness even if this will only be fully developed later withthe ninth wave. Maybe it will in fact be humanity’s last chance of setting such an intention,which almost with necessity must exist at an early point if we are to elevate ourselves above theeconomic chaos that we may expect in the years ahead. In my own view the hope for the futurelies exactly in learning to surf on this ninth wave and so transcending, rather than gettingcaught up in, all the dualities and conflicts of lower Underworlds. If this is so it must also beexpected that the Conscious Convergence will meet with much resistance from all those forcesthat are defending the ego-based operation of the old world and the massive hierarchies this hasgenerated. As a small example of this a commercial media industry has now emerged around”2012” where it is speculated about what is going to happen as if this were independent of theintentions and creative direction people choose. Naturally we will also come to be faced with ourown cynicism and apathy towards the state of the world and thoughts will come back to us as:“this is not possible”, “the world will not change”, etc and it is for this reason a strongcommitment will be needed.The Conscious Convergence is meant to be a very inclusive event that can be embraced byeveryone who intends the emergence of unity consciousness regardless of his or her views aboutthe Mayan calendar or otherwise. It is about positively and constructively using a window ofopportunity and so participation in this only requires an insight that the consciousness shift mustcome out of the evolutionary processes that we are currently part of. Thus, a shift to unityconsciousness is not something that will simply drop down on us from the sky at some date inthe future, but can only evolve from the point where we are at the present moment. It is a basictenet of the law of attraction that providence only moves when you are committed and so far thecommitment for a transition to unity consciousness has not surfaced on a larger scale or evenbeen proposed previously.For this event to be successful in generating the intention for the shift to the consciousness of theninth wave a massive participation in it will be desirable also at preparatory stages. Thepreparatory efforts have to be shared by the millions that intend for a shift in consciousness totake place. To bring it about a collective effort will thus be needed and already making a choiceto participate is part of creating the intention that has been discussed here. Initially, there will bea great need for people to take initiatives to disseminate the call for the Conscious Convergencearound the world. It is important to approach organizations to have them embrace it. Then therewill be the need for people to make their unique contributions known through public web sites,social media and other networks. There will also be a need for funding of many aspects of theactivities and for staff, which can be done through to www.CommonPassion.org, a 501c3 non-profit, public benefit corporation. Then, there will be a need for creative planning of events andthe creation of a network between these. Individuals and organizations who wish to participate in

this global program are invited to join the discussion for particulars of the shared intention and toconnect with others around the world that will be co-creating this intentional wave of unityconsciousness. A discussion forum has been initiated at:http://forum.commonpassion.org/viewforum.php?id=50.My own view is that this is the last chance that human beings will have to truly align themselveswith the cosmic plan. It is now or never and if you do not think that the Conscious Convergencehas something to do with you you probably have not studied the Mayan calendar seriouslyenough. Hence, there can be no proxies for your participation in the transformation of the worldas the calendar comes to an end. The final descent of Bolon Yookte, the Nine Waves (Nine Lordsof Time or Nine Underworlds, or whatever name you prefer) is upon us and it is not withoutreason that the number nine is sacred in so many spiritual traditions. ** The Conscious Convergence is not based on tzolkin days, but rather on the fractal timeacceleration of the nine waves. Yet, we may still pay attention to the tzolkin day of the event.Thus July 17, 2010 is 13 Eb, one of the more mysterious day signs that is typically translated asThe Road or Grass and, since it is linked to the number 13, this day is very typical of the Eb daysign. Road usually refers to the road of life or the road up the cosmic pyramid and grass refers to

a grass roots event. Typically people born in this day sign are those that have the concern forseven generations into the future, do much good, but do not to seek the limelight for themselves.

*** This is not how the Harmonic Convergence was originally understood by Tony Shearer andJosé Argüelles. Shearer, a Native American, who first proposed the dates, saw the HarmonicConvergence as the end point of Thirteen Heavens starting AD 843 and the Nine Hells (52-yearperiods) that had followed upon Hernan Cortez landing in Vera Cruz in 1519 and Argüellespromoted this scheme in The Mayan Factor. While this may have served as a guiding prophecythat intuitively led to identifying the dates of the Harmonic Convergence as August 16-17, 1987(1 Alligator and 2 Wind) it in my view hardly serves as a theoretical understanding of why thesedates were actually energetically important. Thus, the Harmonic Convergence was defined moremythologically than scientifically, since at the time the knowledge of the reality basis of theMayan calendar was almost non-existent. We now know from Mayan sources that 13+9 is not tobe regarded as a linear sequence, but that each of the Nine Underworlds was made up fromThirteen Heavens (Thus, according to the Mayan Books of Chilam Balam “the nine lords oftime (Bolon-ti-ku) seized the thirteen lords of time (Oxlahun-ti-ku)” and so creation has anintegrated pyramidal rather than linear structure. Whether people are aware of it or not, the entireevolution of the cosmos since the Big Bang has also been meticulously mapped out in light ofthe Mayan calendar and verified by massive empirical evidence.

**** I have probably contributed myself to the confusion that reigns when it comes to thebeginning date of the Universal wave movement and have given different times for this. Whatwe know is that the calendar develops according to nine wave movements, where the longest onegoes back to the birth of the universe, and they all differ from one another with a factor oftwenty. According to such a fractal view of the prophetic Mayan calendar system the ninth wavewould then be only 234 days long made up of 13 different uaxaclahunkin (18 day) periods. Thisplaces the beginning of the ninth wave at March 9, 2011 and that of the preceding wave(Conscious Convergence) at July 17, 2010. These are points in time that are expected to marksignificant frequency increases and accelerations of time.

As we approach the time when all the nine waves, developing at different speeds, willsimultaneously come to manifest fully (28 October 2011, 13 Ahau) there is thus going to be quitecomplex patterns of overlapping of these waves. The Sacred Calendar rounds of 260 days willstill have an unquestionable energetic existence and so these, as part of this overlapping, wouldcontinue the three stage rocket into the birth of the new world that started on 9.9.9 (Sept 9, 2009,please see http://www.calleman.com/content/articles/999_and_the_mayan_calendar.htm). Forthis reason the dates of the beginnings of the two next tzolkin rounds, May 27, 2010 and Feb 11,2011, will also remain as important times for celebrating alignments with the cosmic plan andpotentially very important for the preparation for the Conscious Convergence and the actualninth wave respectively.
