Managing director David Long has over 30 years’ experience supplying gas and diesel engine spare parts throughout the world. David founded INDUSTRIAL MARINE AND GAS ENGINES in 2002 in his native North West of England.He was previously employed by Jenbacher’s UK distributor, ending his career with the company as a Project Manager for installations. Prior to this he was involved in the conversion of Ruston diesel engines to run on hydrogen gas in a purpose built 70,000 sq ft premises and has also been employed by Ruston themselves. Lynne is responsible for all aspects of finance and credit control.

Tony McDonaghService & Maintenance ManagerTony is responsible for service and maintenance of engines under service contracts with Industrial Marine and Gas Engine Ltd. He is also responsible for Motortech sales and service. Tony was a Chief Engineer in the Royal Navy for 23 years and has previously worked for Ruston as a senior service engineer looking after diesel gas and dual fuel engines. Before joining Industrial Marine and Gas Engine Ltd Tony was Service & Maintenance Manager at a large power generation company responsible for looking after 98 Jenbacher engines, 26 Caterpillar engines and 6 Deutz engines, all running on gas, and in total representing over 110 megawatts of power. Service StaffOur new Service Department is capable of performing services both in-house and in situ, whichever suits you best. We offer regular servicing and repairs on these brands:Ruston, Jenbacher, Caterpillar, Deutz. Champion Platinum Power spark plugs use a platinum pad welded to a nickel alloy centre electrode for long life. The advantage of this design is that platinum has extremely good wear characteristics and can reduce gap growth.

It is Industrial Marine And Gas Engine Ltd policy to supply original equipment manufactured (OEM) spare parts and a mixture of genuine spare parts from the engine manufacturer. If it is not possible to get genuine/OEM spare parts then Industrial Marine And Gas Engine Ltd will supply their own manufactured spare parts which will be inspected, tested and unless otherwise stated, conform in all aspects with the requirements of the contract or order. All parts will be manufactured by leading component suppliers in accordance with the relevant British or European standards, and will be fully guaranteed for 12 months in respect of design, materials and workmanship. In the unlikely event of a warranty claim the part in question will immediately be replaced free of charge.

The material used is in accordance with latest appropriate standard specification and complete of good workmanship throughout and also inter-changeable with originally/previously fitted respective equipment/spares.

Industrial Marine And Gas Engine Ltd also give warranty/guarantee that the equipment/spares supplied will fit in the respective place of the machinery/equipment. If any defect/discrepancy arises during fitting in respective machinery/equipment after receipt of equipment’s/spares by consignee/end user, the supply of that part will be replaced free of charge within the minimum amount of time after establishment of discrepancies.
