Seeking New Members Daughters of Isabella, one of the largest Catholic women's organizations, is accepting new members. With over 25,000 members in the United States and Canada, the Daughters of Isabella is a spiritual and charitable-oriented organization whose members are devoted to assisting churches and charities though volunteer service and contributions. The charitable and apostolic activities of the Daughters of Isabella are worldwide. Some of the issues for which these women support are: respect for life, vocations, the mission, scholarships for the youth, aid to the needy, visiting the sick and elderly, and breast cancer awareness. Although the Daughters of Isabella was originally founded as an Auxiliary to the Knights of Columbus over 120 years ago, today it operates separately, and members need not have husbands who are Knights, nor are members restricted to any one parish. Membership is open to all Catholic women, age 16 and above. For more information on membership in the organization, or if you have question please contact us at 203-865-2570, or check out our website: http://www.daughtersofisabella.org/membership/.

Mary Carol and Michelle are pictured with Archbishop Listecki holding Holy Family’s special banner, which was used in the procession. Special thanks to Harry Schneider and Beth Campshure for designing our banner! Also, check out Holy Family’s little “church,” which is now located outside the parish offices. Again, special thanks
to Kelsey Carter for designing and painting the church and to Nick Freund for installing it for us. Holy Family Church has been chosen as one of the “passport sites” for the Exploration Tour of churches in our archdiocese and inside our little “church” you will find passports, stampers, and historical data on Holy Family. Go to 175.archmil.org for more information on how you can explore all the beautiful churches on display in our archdiocese from now until November 28, 2019!
