    Progressive forms:

    past

    be in present + present participle (verb + -ing).

    future

    (Cowan, Ron, 2008: 362)

    The present progressive: form: be(i.e. am, is, or are) +(verb+ -ing).

    Negative with not after verb to be:

    (be + not) in contracted (short) forms
