CARTUCHO MG/HE500 NUEVO
Doris Quintana Pizarro

CARTRIDGE MG/HE500 NEW
Doris Quintana Pizarro
Jefe Laboratorio y Gestión de Calidad
- This chemical cartridge provides protection A1B1E1K1P3 against organic gases and vapors with a boiling point higher than 65°C; certain inorganic gases and vapors and Sulfur Dioxide and other acid gases and vapors; for use against Ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives; and particulates and aerosols.
- Displaced design allows a better weight distribution adding more comfort to
the user.
- Allows an easy and quick connection of the filters by using a bayonet
connection system.
- Manufacturated in a plastic capsule.
- The active carbon is the raw material that retains the chemical
contaminants, and the HEPA filter retains the most harmful particle size that
exists for the respiratory system, which is 0,3 micron particle.
- Can be used only and exclusively with the M-500 / M-800 respirators from
the “MASPROT” Brand.
This cartridge is certified in Europe by the Notified Control Agency N ° 159
NATIONAL MEDIA CENTER OF PROOTECTION-41007 Seville, Spain, under the
following standard
- UNE-EN 14387:2004+A1:2008 - UNE-EN 143:2001+A1:2006
The useful life depends of the use and working conditions, as for example the contaminant concentration, activity that is performed, etc. The way to detect the end of the useful life of the quimical cartridges is perceiving the smell or taste of the contaminant. The way to detect the end of the life of the filters against particles, is when the user notice difficulty in breathing. This indicates that the filter material has clogged and is impeding the normal passage of airflow into the respiratory system. Detecting any of these, the entire cartridge must be replaced.
