The U.S. Department of State (DoS) Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement(INL) and Narcotics Affairs Section (NAS) Bogota, has as one of its responsibilities the provision of a wide array of support to the Colombian National Police (CNP) Aviation Program. This supportincludes administrative, technical, maintenance, training, and logistics/procurement support to theColombian National Police Aviation program (ARAVI) that operates throughout Colombiasupporting the counternarcotics effort. ARAVI operates rotary and fixed-winged aircraft located infive fixed bases: Bogotá (El Dorado and Guaymaral), Santa Marta, Mariquita, and Tuluá; and

multiple mobile bases in Colombia. Primary aviation missions include aerial escort, airmobileoperations, intelligence collection, troop transport, and logistics.

The U.S. Department of State, American Embassy in Bogota, Colombia, is seeking qualifiedofferors for the construction of four (4) heliports and taxiways to connect to four (4) existingheliports. The new heliports and taxiways will need to be connected with each other and with theexisting hangar (est. 2812 square meters). The project also includes the installation of two (2)existing container type bathrooms including utilities.
