CICLO HIDROLÓGICO
Hidrosfera global, composta de vários reservatórios (ou subsistemas)conectados pela transferência d’água nas três fases, desempenha um papelimportante no clima da Terra.

O componente superficial consiste da saída, entrada e armazenamento dasubstância água nos continentes e oceanossubstância água nos continentes e oceanos.O componente atmosférica compreende o transporte de vapor d’água.

Estas duas componentes são acopladas pela superfície do planeta.
Evaporação: perda de água da superfície → ganho pela atmosfera.Precipitação: ganho de água pela superfície → perda para a atmosfera.
A água promove uma ligação importante entre as várias componentes do clima.
As duas componentes devem ser estudadas no todo → aproximação entre asdisciplinas de hidrologia e meteorologia.
